Dead Money....GEEEEEEEZZZZZ!

Post » Fri Jul 06, 2012 7:46 pm

I'm on my one and only 200 hr. character who is a level 33 I think. I'm playing on Very Hard/hardcoe mode. My dude destroys everybody in the mojave wasteland and everything, until I started Dead Money that is. I've made it to the part where I've already recruited all the weirdos and took them to there separate places. I flipped the final switch or whatever and it says to go back and enter the casino.

Problem is, I have no life, no bullets, no stimpacks, no doctor bags, I'm crippled, I have like 600 rads, and it seems the whole path back is ghost people. Any advice would be very helpful. I never imagined this DLC would be THIS hard. Goodness. If only I had my suppressed anti-material rifle and enclave armor!

First piece of advise: Don't refer to them as weirdos. They're actually some of the best characters in the game.

Second, there should be a vending machine fairly close to you, and it's basically on the path to the villa anyways. Just sneak past the ghost people if you can until you get to that vending machine, then heal yourself up.

Yes...hopefully you may have a save prior to when you get to that little plaza where you go to the tower to start the gala.

Before you walk into the plaza there is that store with stairs and it should have a vending machine. If you have been a good little forager and gatherer you should have chips to spend and the code for doctors bags. (can't remember if that takes a code or not...radway definitely has a code) There should be codes for the pistol bullets and 308 rounds as well. If you haven't gotten theses codes yet...well...you have a fun run ahead of you.

Remember theres nothing that says you have to fight every ghost person you come across...running is an option.

Good luck.

The first time with Dead Money is always pretty hard...just did my 5th runthru on that DLC...some of the ol magic is gone but there were still differences I had not encountered before.

I've already used all of my chips on stimpacks just to survive this long lol. I suppose this will be the hardest part in the whole game for me. I gotta hand it to them though, they sure put me in a seriously tight spot for such an uber character. The only thing I can possibly think of is to lower the difficulty, but that would sure cheapen everything that I have done, so that will be the very last option.
