I am puzzled, how the heck do we get the loot out of the Vault at the end of Dead Money? I keep reading people take all 37 gold with them, and I can't see how the do this on the console since you can't cheat and make yourself super strong. So without cheating, or on the 360, how do you take the gold with you? I get over encoumbered and I move really slow so there is no way of escaping without your head getting blown off.

You are not meant to be able to take them, that's what the line is, "Finding it, that's not the difficult part. Its letting it go" its designed so you either have to leave all of your stuff and take most of the bars, take all of your stuff and leave most of the bars, or take most of your stuff and some of the bars.

However each bar is worth a small fortune.

The bars are worth a lot, the problem is finding a vendor with the most caps to buy them. For the OP, I normally just take 1-3 bars. That's enough for me

I find that impossible since the overencumberance was like in the 1000s. So I was wondering what the could have done to carrry so much then.

i take everything everytime. and there's no way i'm leaving the gold behind. it is actually incredibly easy to do. go to youtube and search all 37 gold bars or something similar. you don't need a stealth boy or skills. it really only requires timing.

On the consoles (i play the 360), yes, you can get them all out, i've did it a few times.

Here's what you do: when leaving the vault, go straight and follow the path to the forcefield at the back, save (when you drop the gold bars they may disappear, thats why you save), drop gold bars in front of the forcefield, they should fall on the other side, then deal with elijah, but make sure you kill him near the forcefield you'll have to backtrack through.

After doing that, you'll have to haul *** back to the beginning (make sure you know the layout fairly well, after picking up gold bars, every second will count), pick up the bars and painfully make your way to the entrance, it'll be beeping like mad, so hopefully you'll make good time.

To take all of them you'd need a strength of ten and all of the perks that there are for carrying stuff to be able to carry all of them and nothing else.

The max weight you can carry with all of those is still 325 with STR of 10+ Strong Back and Hoarder.
