Dead money leaving problem

So I played through the dead money dlc and when I lock Elijah in the vault and sneak off and get into ville for some strange reason when i want to go back to the Mohave wastes the loading screen appears for about two seconds and then the screen turns black... Plzzz help!!!!

Does this happen everytime you reload?

This happens to me as well on the PS3. Tried reloading, but can't exit the Sierra Madre.
