Here is the problem I am having and I am hoping some one can help me figure out the solution. I am at the part in dead money where the player (you) and the other 3 characters stand before the fountain you see in the 1st part of the game. Now in my game, I have all 3 of them waiting there for me when I get to it. And when I try talking to father elijah he says to me "You've returned. Why? Find the 3 as I have instructed and I will have more for you, but not before" This is as close as I can get to remembering the words. Anyways to the problem. I clearly have all 3 of them standing at the fountain but he says nothing more than what is stated one line above. Now heres the odd part about this whole thing, when I found dog, christine and Dean, it says the quest was completed. But when I check the quest completed section, it shows that none of them have been recruited. So I am guessing that this issue is what is causing me not being able to get further into the game. At least that is what I think it is. I have exhausted every possible line with every one of them except for the comments that requires me to be a certain skill level. I am now at level 30 and cannot change or edit my stats as you all would know. So the problem still exists. I still believe that with them not actually being recruited, this is causing the problem. But I have no idea on how to solve this problem. Furthermore, I have played to this point in the game twice now and still it shows them not being recruited. So if that is the case, then why are they at the fountain. I really need help on this issue, so if anyone can think of an idea, solution or anything that might help please mention it.

Also one other thing of note: When trying to access this DLC for the 1st time yesterday, I could not do so because of the title update #5. Meaning that I have to decline the update to even access this DLC. And I am skeptical about doing the update, to see if it works. Because I do not want it to corrupt my save file or stop me from accessing the DLC altogether.

Anyways help is much appreciated.
