So I have accessed the vault, spoken with Father Elijah and he has made his way down to the vault area. Problem is he won't come out to face me. He keeps running back and forth behind the force field barrier. I have been sitting here almost an hour and he still won't budge. My problem is, I think that I saved after speaking with him the final time before he left to come down. Has anyone else on PS3 had this happen? I cannot even backtrack through the other side to try and advance the quest.

Try killing yourself. The game autosaves right before you access the terminal. At least, it does on the PC. If saving is the problem, this should fix it.

Yeah, I have done the killing myself, letting the vault turrets get me, etc. I have re-saved and rebooted game and PS3, still cannot get Elijah out from behind the shields. He just keeps pacing back and forth. If you walk up to the door, he just hides in the corridor with the elevator. I think I must have found a bug that has put me into a infinite sticky spot.
