Dead Money weapon recipes.

The cosmic knife and cloud residue, among other ingredients, are only found at
Sierra Madre. What's the point of the recipes after that?

whats the point of the Recipies you cant find parts for in the Sierra Madre.

odds are theres going to be 3 more expansions that each add a bunch of items to the game that cant be build outside of them and items from Vanila that cant be make inside them.

if your realy mad about it though theres mods in the nexus that will allow you to have them in the main gam

There's a "chemistry set" in the abandoned BOS bunker that generates cloud residue for the poisons and martinis and what not.

As for the cosmic knives, even without jury rigging, weapon repair kits are easily available through the SM vending machine, provided you got the code in your DLC play through so you only really need one set of the craftable top end stuff you can build with Cosmic Knives, like a cosmic knife (super heated), and and a knife spear (clean).

It would be cool if you could revisit Sierra Madre for Ghost Hunting and what not...

indeed it would 'cause i killed most of them and i think i'm still missing some...
btw do you keep your weapons and whatnot of the sierra madre when you return to yhe mojave?

Everything on you when you leave Sierra Madre stays with you. You also get back whatever you had when you originally entered the bunker. It's a long slog back to Novac with the literal ton of swag I pulled out of there. :lol:

Well, I think the Cosmic Knife, Super-Heated with the Pyromaniac perk (I got a mod that fixes DLC weapons not being affected by perks) becomes far, far better then Chance′s knife.
Oh, and deleting the recipes from your misc section after you′ve completed the game would just be silly and unnecessary.

Note that you can still wonder around Sierra Mandre after you left the Vault.

They'd have to make some of the things respawn. AFAIK there's only so many cosmic knives in the game world (granted there's a lot of them). I think ghost people respawn, so there's a theoretically limitless number of spears and stuff though.

They could just make it so you can break down spears into their component parts too.

The bigger problem is what happens when you run out of police pistols or autorifles. For that, it might have been better to include a vending code for those, but which is only available after the end (or really expensive) to prevent people from spamming them.

so that means i wiil have to walk a long time
the only good thing bout that is ... i dunno
maybe test the exta weapons while walking slow-mo, looking awesome
... you guys sould try that with a minigun, its awesome

Sure, just rub it in that you have a PC and can download mods from the nexus use the GECK and enter in console commands while us peons who use consoles are stuck with whatever comes with the vanilla content, DLCs and few and far between patches... :sadvaultboy:

You can get residue from the lab kit in the bunker every three days. As for cosmic knives I think you're out of luck
