Dead Space 2 PC or PS3?

Hey, I just wanted to know which platform you guys think it would be better to get DS2 for? PC or PS3? (i dont have an xbox, nor do i wish to...) I know most of you here would be thinking "PC u tard!!!" and that's how i think about games i'm excited about getting but my concern is that getting the PS3 version might be better fro this game because they may not support the PC as well. There's already been a Beta AND a demo for the PS3. both of which i've played, but nothing on the PC so far which kinda makes you wonder what would happen with DLCs and stuff. They may only make DLCs for PS3 and not PC which would svck. Anyways what do you guys think? Oh and I would probably get the Collector's edition.

PC u tard!!! :P jk

i will try to get it for pc cause i only have pc and generally i rather aim with a mouse than a stick, but in this case im not sure, the first one was a really bad port for pc in terms of controls and like you say they dont seem very interested in supporting the pc version as they do with consoles

if i were you i would check their forums and see what the general opinion about it

though, if i had a console and if had a good tv and a surround sound system i think i would give up the mouse for that in this game as the sound and atmospheric effects are what make this game great, also if i had a 3d tv then it would be a must, i cant even imagine how great this game should be with 3d effect and all the hologram menus and monster guts popping out of the screen :D

yeah, my main concern is whether the DLCs are worth giving up things like surround sound which I do haveon my PC but not my PS3. Another thing is that I doubt people will play the MP for nearly as long on the PC as on he PS3. People on the PS3 will generally play anything online for a long time.

I dont know about the situation in canada but in germany the Pc versions are usually cheaper than the console ones. So why should someone with a highend Pc spend more money for a consoleversion that has not the same quality as the pc version?

Because of DLCs which is my concern. PC usually gets weaker support for DLCs. And yes PC games usually cost about $10 less here then consoles. PC - usually $59.99, PS3 - usually 69.99, 360 - usually 69.99 and sometimes $79.99 :S (greedy-ass Microsoft...). And PC game prices go down much faster then consoles. They're about $10 cheaper after a few months while consoles are the same as original price. Special editions cost the same on all platforms though which is $79.99 for Dead Space 2, well worth it in my opinion for the extras.

If its gonna be a total 100% console port like the first one then you should take the PS3 version
