Wow... I expected a very large long fought out battle, not what happened in the video! Good match Big John Hawker, maybe next time! As for now Gordol Indoril, you won't be going back to Morrowind any time soon when this fight is over!

He's going on to hell whether he wins or loses, or at least his version of it.

As for Hawker..Zenithar honors the profession of noble warrior, and blesses the one who defeated his avatar. He will return another day.

Gurkog never wins quickly, but what he lacks in offensive power he makes up for with pure mule-headed stubborness! Like the rock he mines you can pound away on him all you want but sooner or later he will come crashing down on you!

EDIT: Actually, Gurkog's opponents probably die due to exhaustion after beating on him long enough!

 Still didn't use the poison... the only explanation is that she was intending to eat him once she killed him and wanted the meat to not be tainted, guess she got a little ahead of herself

It's hard to say whther or not she used poison because the first arrow hit my character, which was standing in the middle of the arena invisible and in godmode. But as I said, I ran tests of what happens if I'm not standing in the middle and then it turns out that her first arrow always hit Gordol's Wraith so the end result is the same and she always loses.

I'm now busy preparing the results of the semifinal round. They'll be up soon.

SEMIFINAL ROUND

Match 1

In the left corner we have Squally the Green, Orc Berzerker MkII. Clad in Dwarven armor, this mighty warrior wields an axe enchanted with lightning. In the right corner we have Gurkog Gor-bak, Orc Stonemauler. He wears Orcish armor and fights with a vampiric mace. Two Orcs born under the sign of the Steed, both wearing heavy armor and using blunt weapons. But only one can advance to compete for the title of the Deadliest Warrior of Oblivion!

Match 2

In the left corner we have Gordol Indoril, Dunmer Temple Crusader. The fearless warrior wears no helmet over his red mohawk and he is protected by an ancestral spirit.

In the right corner we have Gaiden, Redguard Reservist. He has proven to be a far more potent warrior than many expected, but is he good enough to become the Deadliest Warrior of Oblivion?

Some really excellently timed taunting in this one. One of my favourite matches.

And Gurkog has fallen! I'm not quite sure why though. His gear is overall of higher quality, so I guess Squally simply must have gone berzerk on him. It might also have something to do with Alchemy.

On paper Gaiden should be stronger that Gordol. But in practice Gordol more than made up for it with his extremely aggressive fighting style. For every hit that Gaiden landed, Gordol landed three. And one simply has to love the well timed "This is the part where you fall down and bleed to death!"

It appears that Gurkog was unable to stagger his opponent as much as he usually does. Without those couple second breaks in combat he was simply overwhelmed.

My money is on Squally in the final round.

I'm hoping Gordol Indoril wins it, I've been rooting for him since he massacred Thuadra. I liked in the first fight that at :22 they both did a side power attack and both missed, it looked like they were dancing :D

Speaking of the next tourney, Dragatus do you want to do the next tourney or should I? My next one will be the same rules as this one without mods either.

I won't be doing another tournament for some time now so you're welcome to hold one.

Another thing is that Gurkog and Gaiden still get to compete for third place, so the tournament isn't completely over for them just yet. ;)

Sounds good! I love hosting these as much as competing in them! Im sure you like the chance to compete to :lmao:

Cant wait to see the third round fight, though I've got my money on Gurkog to win.

The third rounds fights have already been, this is the final round!

ROUND 4 - THE FINALS

Battle for 3rd place

In the left corner we have Gurkog Gor-bak, Orc Stonemauler. He is wearing traditional armor of the Orcs and using a vampiric mace. In the right corner we have Gaiden, Redguard Reservist. He too is wearing Orcish armor, but his weapon is a ligntning sword. Both have lost their chance to be proclaimed champion, but they can still be third!

The grand finale

In the left corner we have Squally the Green, Orc Berzerker MkII. He is wearing armor that was made by the Dwemer people in ancient times and his weapon is a lightning-powered axe. In the right corner we have Gordol Indoril, Dunmer Temple Crusader. no helmet covers his red mohawk and he has a spirit of his ancestors watching over him. Both have proven themselves to be mighty and fearless warriors, but only one will walk away with the tile of Deadliest Warrior of Oblivion!

Gurkog almost never used block this whole tourney.... strange.

The finale was interesting. Gordol was good at hitting then running before Squally could retaliate..

Gordoll stood over his vanquished foe...the recreated armor and weapon Azura had made for him were dented and nearly used up, as was the sewn together Flesh Atronach his soul inhabited. He breathed hard, and bled from multiple wounds while regarding his fallen foe. For the first time in his life, he considered the Orc as more than just a beast or a savage. One had gone toe to toe with him and nearly destroyed him. On its own. Not in large numbers. Not killing children and women. An honorable warrior vs. warrior fight. Gordol finally understood Azura's last challenge for him. He could accept the essential humanity and worth of "beast races." He closed his eyes and dissolved into nothing, his empty suit of armor and weapon fell to the ground with a thud and the dust kicked up.

Congrats Hairdo! In the second battle, when Squally won, I thought it was cool when Gordol died with a blast of purple magic. It looked like his soul was leaving his body.
