At first I though, yeah another win! Then i read you gave my guy the imperial helmet :lmao: oh well, maybe next time ^^ Good fight!

Good fight. :D

Wow, I DID NOT expect to get this far into the tourney, getting pretty excited now; I half expected to be out on the first set of round to be perfectly honest.

Tomorrow is time for round 3 and the following matches:

Match 1: Crazy Jim vs Gregnak gro-Nagrog

Match 2: Kjelhe Bolthammer vs Vandir Numdar

The combatants will now be level 26 and they'll have all their class skills at 50 or higher. The number of victories to win a match also increases from 2 to 3 so a match could potentially have 5 fights.

The first match probably isn't going to be very interesting, but the second one might prove interestig. Kjelhe has a plain unenchanted mace so he's at a disadantage in melee, but on the other hand he actually is going to have his Dremora this time around. Any predictions?

Pff... Vandir Obviously.... :D

Anyway, can't wait to see how these matches turn out, even if I do manage to win this round there's no way on Earth that I will be able to beat Crazy Jim. D:

When do we get the artifacts?

I also realized something with mine; for the first one, I chose Nerveshatter which is a two handed hammer, and for the second I chose Estucheon of Chorrol which is a shield. Unfortunately I can't use both at once.

I was under the impression that you only got one of the artifacts and not both. :o

Never say never slash, no telling what might actually happen since its all AI. Thats why I had no real idea how far my char would make it in this tourny even though he made it to the finals in the last one he was in. Cant wait to see the next round. Good luck all.

This may be from a lack of sleep and/or knowledge, but I'm going out on a large limb, and would put my money (albeit a very small amount) on Gregnak. He just seemed to win his fight much more convincingly then Crazy Jim, who at times looked like he was struggling against Duluk, whereas Gregnak easily disposed of Hrothgar. Different abilities and fighting styles, sure, but you never know. I think Gregnak vs. Crazy Jim could prove to be much more thrilling than we think.

Whoops, guess I didn't read the rules completely. Hopefully I'll actually get to the grand finale in order to use Nerveshatter.

I'm rooting for Kjelhe now. He defeated Trannigan and Trannigan defeated Hjolfyr. It makes sense to support him now.

I think that's reasonable. Alright then, unless someone convinces me otherwise you'll be able to choose any item you want for the grand finale of the next tournament I host.

Could the guard AI package be selectable as well? :D

I've been thinking, and I realized that Gregnak might just barely be able to beat Crazy Jim, if the AI is smart. If Gregnak just goes straight for Crazy Jim and ignores his summon, I think he'd be able to kill him before he himself died. Probably not, but I'll keep my fingers crossed anyways.

Thats my logic for Gregnak. As i said before, Gregnak looked far more convincing than Crazy Jim

So much for all the Gregnak hype. :P

But the match between Kjelhe and Vandir was fantastic, by far the best of the tournament. Just when it seemed Kjelhe would win a flawless victory Vandir made a comeback and won two fights so it was open until the very end.

So the finalist are Crazy Jim (duh!) and Kjelhe Bolthammer. Crazy Jim will be upgrading his Ogre Skin Shield (Ebony shield with 15% Shield enchantment) to the ultimate version of the Escutcheon of Chorrol (35% Reflect Damage, stacks with his Ring of Retibution for 45% Reflect Damage) while Kjelhe will be trading his unenchanted mace for Nerveshatter. But since Nerveshatter is a SI item I will have to make it look like a warhammer from the vanila game. Halperin, do you have any preferences or do I just make it look daedric?

I'll also host a battle for third place between Gregnak and Vandir. Oh yeah, and it will be 5 victories to win and everybody will be level 31.

Oh noes! I was defeated, but yeah, that was an epic match. ;D
Can't wait until a new tourney comes up, it's been awesome taking part in this one. Maybe I'll have better luck next time. :)

EDIT: I think that'll I work on my build a little bit and try to see what I can upgrade for the next tourney. Thanks for having me. :D

MOAR EDITS: Wow, didn't notice the 3rd place battle, hopefully I can win this one. :D

WTF EVEN MOAR EDITS?!?!?: Will the next tourney be using the same character format as this one? Just so I can plan a bit ahead of time.

With 45% reflect damage, I think Crazy Jim will keep his title.

I'll be making a character and was also wondering this. :)

Yes, 45% Reflect Damage + 50% Resist Magic + 50% Spell Absorption makes him pretty much invincible. Actually I'm even considering to not use artifacts after all. I'm a bit torn on the issue. If we use artifacts Crazy Jim can't lose, but on the other hand I don't like changing the rules after the tournament has already started.

Zorg, you submited Crazy Jim, what do you say?

As for the next contest it will follow basically the same rules for characters with perhaps a few small alterations. But the structure of the fights will be different. It will be Crazy Jim vs 10 challengers. We can make a backstory that they are the relatives of the people he butchered in previous tournaments and outside of the arena and they want revenge. :D

When are y'all gonna learn?

Crazy Jim leaves NO ONE alive EVER.

I mean, I'd put my best character against him out of curiosity but there's no chance I'd win.

The idea is to see if anyone can find a way to defeat him. And it won't have to be a character that you have already played. I think I've already figured out how to beat him myself, but since I'm the host I can't participate and I'd like to see if anyone else can. Oh yeah, there would also be a rule that your class can't be an exact copy of his and you need to have the same race as one of the character he defeated in these tournaments. Argnak was a Nord, Khamul was an Imperial, Kari was a Breton, Arya was an Altmer, Rythe was a Dunmer, and Duluk and Gregnak were Orcs.

A daedric mace will be a fine substitution for Nerveshatter. I think it will be okay using artifacts. What I'm hoping (praying actually) is that Kjelhe will get some lucky disarms and knockdowns, and my dremora will be a distraction. Also, since Kjelhe has an endurance of 100 and high fatigue, I'm hoping that Kjelhi might knock him down from lack of fatigue.

I remember when Hairdo was doing his deadliest NPC contest, during the fight of the Gray Prince vs. Umaril, where the Gray Prince was the huge underdog, he managed to disarm Umaril's sword and then proceeded to butcher him.

I would also be interested with a match of Barahir, the winner from the first tournament, against Crazy Jim. I think Crazy Jim will win, but Barahir was extremely surprising the first tournament.

How the hell ...? It did not look like Crazy Jim was doing much damage to Gregnak! At least not more than Gregnak was doing as well. How the hell is Crazy Jim so unbeatable?!?
