every time i go to the hall of the vigilance i always suspect a mission or something cool to happen but nothing, nothing hapens I think it would be a nice guild added to skyrim. I tried going on the steam workshop to see if there are any mods for it but there wasnt. its probally on nexus and im poor

The VoS are unjoinable because if you could join them it would mess with the main questline of the Dawnguard DLC

but, the VoS dont only hunt vampires.

Im talking about the story of the Dawnguard DLC...i am assuming that you havnt played it (and this isnt the spoiler section) so im not going to spoil that DLC's story but it's events would make it very hard to be a Vigilant or it would have to force a tie-in with the DLC which is never good (it already does this with the Main Quest of Skyrim and Dawnguard in a few ways)

Yeah try to imagine joining the Companions or Mage's College and then the home base and leader gets killed 2 seconds later...

Anyways you can still dress as a Vigilant and join the Dawnguard which covers Vampire hunting, then just oppose all the Daedric Princes in their missions, and finally hunt down Hagravens and Necromancers and you are practically a VoS

I imagine the Dawngaurd would still kill a daedra should one cross their path. But Vampires and other undead are just as dangerous.
