Hello!

First things first:

1. This is not a complaint post
2. These points are made after playing all 7 TES games for PC (Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Redguard and Battlespire) and following TES communitys thoughts for a few years
3. I myself play TES games (and many others) with PC, but have nothing against consoles
4. This post will include some console exclusive points too
5. The suggestions for new content are ment to be for TES VI (but things i refer to are greatly from morrowind and skyrim)
6. Sorry from typographical errors and bad English

So, let's start! (this will be a long one)

Bethesda, I love every single TES game that there is, even though they have changed a lot during these years. Let's face it, TES-series is now greatly developed for casual gamers and will be and I understand it. Why? Because there is more money in casual gaming and Bethesda needs it for making new games and to pay their bills. :) But there still should be more content for older TES-fans and hardcoe gamers.

Combining these two (casual and hardcoe) is hard, but I have a few suggestion which could be helpful for doing this.

Make additional hardcoe mode. By this, I don't mean hardcoe mode from Fallout New Vegas, but something larger and greater.
Or actually, you could make dlc for this. And I'm serious, some people don't want ever to play with this hardcoe mode, so It doesn't have to be in the original release.

And yes I am aware of modding community, but it is just so much easier for Bethesda to make these things, because they have professionals for making 3d models, textures, scripting and all good stuff and modders rarely work in big teams.

So, hardcoe mode could include some of these things:

-Character needs to eat, drink and sleep to survive (maybe even going to bathroom would be essential :P)

-Hardened puzzles: Tips are provided in environment if you have made your homework (I don't mean like in Skyrim, but like from riddling books)

-No quest markers: This feature will need better journal system to work though, maybe something like in Morrowind

-Athletics skill tree: This works like in Oblivion, but could get some bonus when fighting (different bonuses from different armor and weapon types)

-Removed one handed and two handed skill trees and dividing them to all weapon types (spears, swords, great swords, axes, battle axes, bows, etc.)

- Rare items have more value and are very difficult to obtain: by this I mean that you cannot sell them to smith or something, but maybe to Emperor or then just keeping them + in addition to defeating boss to get them you should gave to use your brain.

-Harder Difficulty: Skyrim is ridiculously easy even with master difficulty

-You have an impact: In morrowind this was done right, when you do something it does something more than just changes one line of NPC dialogue

Additional features for immersion:

-Part in journal, where player could write his/her own notes

-Console Stuff:

-Consoles need to have in game console (you know the thing that opens from tilde key) This could include on screen keyboard for typing. Why consoles need console? For bug fixing! When guest or something else is bugged we pc gamers can fix it with console if nothing else helps, on console they don't even have unofficial patches so they need this more actually than pc gamers really :).

Other essentials:

-New game engine: So, we all know that Creation Engine is not completely new, since there are bugs from previous games. The old engine prevents long term players from modding. By this I mean that mods with no, or little scripting can start save bloating still in patch 1.8

-No scaling at all: In Skyrim, there still is scaling. In higher levels you just fight against a bunch of Bandit Chiefs and not against normal Bandits (you catch my meaning)

-More sound actors and generic npc:s like guards have different lines and voices.

Here is just the beginning of this post, I will include more things, when I have more time (probably this evening) and I want your suggestions for what I should include or change in this post.

So go ahead and post your thoughts about this! :)
