I can dig this. If you they could find a way to bring all the things people love about Bethesda games together with all the things people love about what Obsidian has done, it's win-win. Sounds easy in a forum post of course, probably a whole other ball game in reality. One can dream!
My view precisely. See, this particular dispute-plus-solution idea can really point up where the problems could occur: If we're going to go with "what people love about both companies," then which do we get: Borked Steal play-forever (Bethesda ending) or "Game
over, reload if you wanna keep playing?" (Obsidian ending)
Do we get "If it could even vaguely be called a location, it has phat lewt" (Bethesda "superior exploration") or "Some places might have nothing but an empty location?" (Obsidian "omg wtf, tihs exploration svcks!")
