Dear Bethesda, Please Read This.

Dear Bethesda,

I love Fallout. Your new installment of Fallout 4 is amazing. But, a lot of game reviews are complaining. On Steam, you guys got a lot of bad-ish reviews. Here are some suggestions:

-Make patches, lots and lots of patches

-The game has many bugs. We need to fix them. Here are some:

(companions getting stuck, the subtitles not loading properly/not showing while transitioning between characters, graphics glitches, enemies getting stuck in walls, enemies going through walls, problems with loading/black/transition screens, audio problem, only fitting certain monitors I.E. only fits on 16:9, crashing/freezing problems, dialog problems.)

-A lot of gamers are complaining that the armor/weapons don’t degrade like in New Vegas.

-You can’t layer on armor. So if I want to where a lab coat and shoulder armor at the same time, I cant.

-There are A LOT of complaints about this one. You don’t have enough evil or silly dialog options. You can’t say something bad about the characters like “I’ll never join you!” which takes away a players choice. This, by the way, is a complaint made by at least 80-100 people on steam reviews.

-Players would like to see a Hard Core mode. In Fallout: New Vegas there was a mode that forced you to starve or become dehydrated and die. Players say they want to see more of that. I suggest making an update that would do this. Make player starve without food, die without water, take more damage from radiation, and having to wait for stimpacks to heal them. I promise you, this option would really improve the gaming experience.

-We would like to see reputations and heave endings where different factions see you differently. This was also a BIG complaint amongst gamers, especially on steam. I suggest having an update that changes this and adds reputations like obsidian/interplay had in all of their games. You can also add it in an upcoming mod.

These are just some of the thigs wrong with the game. Most of the other problems can easily be overlooked but the ones I mentioned need to be fixed. I have talked to many gamers and they have thought the same thing. You can confirm it yourself by going to Steam, Fallout 4, and reading the reviews. Thank you for reading this message and I hope you try your best to fix these problem. I can’t wait to see how Fallout 4 will turn out after some minor changes/fixes/updates!

Sincerely,

ThatGamer2277

First I'd like to see the hilariously broken UI fixed so I can worry about other details.

Secondly, I'd like to see the actual dialogue options instead of a word they think may represent what they wrote. I hate this method, you end up restoring because you said something you didn't intend to because you're choosing an option that isn't actually what you're going to say.

Example: Trudy the Trader... If I tell her to pay up, she does, and the dispute is settled. If I tell her I won't kill for her, the option comes out almost hostile, and I end up in gunfight. There are no doubt worse but I haven't played very far in. There was a synth-related conversation that was entirely settled by charisma rolls, and every option looked different but ended up pretty much the same.

Mind you, they're probably not going to rewrite the dialogue for anyone at this point. That would require re-doing the voice acting as well. You may get a silent or fan-acted mod later - but that's a *lot* of voice acting.

Um... they didn't make Vegas... Obsidians made that one... though it IS a good addition to the Fallout3+ game... we can't expect Fallout 4 to be exactly like Vegas...

PLEASE FIX KEY BINDING ISSUE!~

I agree with what everything you guys said, fix the issues/bugs/UI please!
Also, vegas was made based on 3 so yea. I don't want it to be the same. If anything, i like that fallout 4 is a little different
but i want it to be different in a good way, not a bad way. What i would suggest is just for
bethesda to allow you to see what you say before you say it. Basicaly, they have to take all the subtite file (the text), make it green,
and have it shouw up when you hover aboce a certain option. Like if you hover sarcasm, what your character is going to say for that option
will apear infont of you. This would make dialog easyer. Another thing i would suggest, please make a hardcoe mode. or atleast give us the option
of degradable weapons. But, im sure there is already a mod for that. Hopefully the DLC will add some memorable dialogue options
and an awesome story, as well as some awesome locations!

Im actualy thinking of a weapon tehy could add. They should add in a railgun and a sniper that shoots lasers.
Something cool liek that in tehre next DLC. Maybe tehy should do a DLC in New York with like mobsters and stuff. A Fallout version of mafia.
They can have like ghoul buisness men or crazy wild tourists that want to eat you. Maybe they'll have ghouls with
like little suitcases and fedoras and stuff. Oh! maybe it will turn out that someone part of the mob is a synth and they'll have to kill
him, or spare him depending on which side your on. Also, is it just me, or are the songs in Fallout 4 very similar to fallou 3. I mean
some of teh songs are FROM fallout 3! Get a new soundtrack!

I also love Fallout 4, but would very much like to see hardcoe mode and weapon/armor degradation return, those features gave a lot of immersion

Some things that bug me: There's no option for changing FOV, no option for changing mouse smoothing, and some keys are hard coded :wallbash: Please fix!

I strongly agree with everything you just said. Bethesda needs to start fixing Fallout 4. Its not a bad game, but it needs improvment.
It's there job as game developers to improve it.
