Dear Crytek-Team,

i don't want to talk now about piracy or the effects on sales (though i am pretty sure you will make your money see HL2). I will now talk about you, i will try to cheer you up why and how see below.

First of all, let me say what i think about Crytek and Crysis:
As what i experienced in Crysis 1 and Warhead Crytek is a bunch of Nerds (ftw!) that are aiming to deliver their best. You try to create some superior stuff. You want to be proud of your product. And since your not only into graphics, you also wanted to give the players a great tale. In my eyes you all aimed for the stunned face when Crysis 2 comes out (unleaked), with the least amount of information given away early. Because the Headlines then would have given you the pleasure you have worked hard for, created the best possible thing you have could. The comments of players would have warmed your heart!
Because it is not only work, it is more than this. It is something you put all your heart and feelings in. This is what a lucky life is about not only doing your job, doing it with fun with pride and earning the respect and the support of others, but mostly from yourself for it.
And the best way of doing this is surprise somebody, seeing the eyes of people shine feeling their happiness in their first impressioned feedbacks.

Now you may be sad, you may be thinking: you are betrayed for this.

But i say to you:
Cheer up!

You will get your rewards, you will get your honor, you will be proud of yourself!
For instance engine wise not all is given away, only DX9 and medium quality(!!!!), this may only fire the hype up though. Ok the Story also is partly/mostly given away, but on one hand the majority of your future customers wont even recognize this leak (never underestimate the stupidity of mankind *)so when Crysis 2 comes out they will probaly hear the first time of it, then recognize the hype then buy the game then be astounded---> your win. And on the other hand most of the players that care for Crysis 2, they wont let the story be spoiled themselves. They will take care not to get to many information of this kind! At least i will do:
CUZ: I WANT THE WOW-EFFECT AS YOU WANT ME TO HAVE IT!
So carry on with your good work and have fun doing it!

*Example: myself -> i bought Crysis Maximum edition around december last year! And all i knew about the story was: Shooting Northkoreans, then something alienwise and somthing about a final Battle, and this over 3 years after the release of the Game!
And i have to admit i was astounded most time of the game! So high i bought it as a present for a friend too. And he had same experiences , with the clou he didn't even really know about the game -.- .
And since this i finally am back in this gaming gaming gaming mood, i thought i have grown out of! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! XD
