I came across these holotapes in the Fens sewers. I can't find out any other info on the wiki and no quest pops up when I listen. I thought I searched the sewers well but just found the four tapes. I'm hoping for a spoiler free hint on how to pick up the scent and initiate the quest these tapes are linked to. Any hints would be welcome.

I thought it would have something to do with Nick Valentine but it seems to just be random creepy tapes from before the Great War.

Safe bet it has something to do with Lovecraft.

It's sometimes labeled as a 'quest' in some guides but as far as I know it isn't an actual quest. Finding all of the tapes is just sort of seen as a self-rewarding quest or something like that I suppose.

It's not a quest. It's more of a short story from pre-war. It's there to provide some atmosphere, to give the sewer more characterization than just "filled with Ghouls".

gamesas does that kind of atmospheric storytelling nicely. Now if we could jyst get them to be more consistent with good storytelling in their quests...
