Dear Diary...

What the? Nope I'm in the Bethesda Softworks Forums. I wrote on the map in both Arena and Daggerfall.

I'd like to have it back. I have nothing against the journal, but i like my real notebook.

(Fun fact. I bought a new note book to play Morrowind. A lot of quest's in that game.)

very much yes, even if I don't feel like roleplaying and creating a compex backstory (which I probably will), it'd be worth it just to have a place to record various notes and comments (for example, in one of the things i read about skyrim I believe they said that once you enter a dungeon, it gets locked to your level and no high level mobs or loot appear, therefore, recording which dungeons you've visited is a worthwhile endeavor). In Morrowind (less so in Oblivion but still sometimes, particularly in respects to mods), I had pages of notes stacked up by my computer, notes written over notes in some cases, to the point where half of them were completely illegible, plus the pages kept getting lost, etc. Would be nice to have a convenient place to write all that stuff down.

I disagree as I'm a hardcoe role-player and I'm on PS3 and also they could write it on consoles by using the same way they use sending messages

I'd really like it if you could take "notes" in your journal again, even if it was automatic like in Morrowind. Really made you feel engaged with learning about the world around you.

Are you on PS3? If so, what is your online ID?
