Dear gamesas:

To whom might I speak about getting technical information about M.A.X., released in 1996?

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, MAX and MAX 2 are both available as a single download from GOG.com, and their version works with both Windows XP and Windows Vista, so there's very little to no technical stuff required for you to play the game. Have they incorporated TCP/IP network play?

It does support TCP/IP, but it's pretty darn unstable, even patched.

You might check out:

They are working on an updated version.

Yes, I'm involved with that project. :D

However, since most of the development team is German, and I don't speak German, and their code therefore also contains a lot of German, I was thinking of trying to do it all myself... dunno how successful I'll be.
