I just don't get it. Clearly we both share a love for gaming. And we are both super excited for Crysis 2. So why is there a reason you hate us console players so much. If we both love the game then why does it matter where we play it. We know you got these awesome machines that you love to show off to people. But why do you care so much that we are just happy?

I can't watch a single crysis 2 video without a PC elitist coming on and saying, " If you play this on a console you're a ****". Really? So what your saying is you would rather this be limited to people who can only afford high end PC's. And sure a 600$ PC could run it to, but not to the quality so many of you PC elitists say Crysis can achieve. To be honest, I would rather play Crysis 2 with the graphics it has now on my xbox than by a high end PC to make it look just a little better.


Truth is i don't want to hate you guys. I want to come on gamesas.com and talk about a game with everyone. I don't think there should ever be divisions in a community. Now that perfectly fine if you PC players want tro talk about settings and all that cool stuff, but we enjoy this just as much as you do and we are ecstatic to see this franchise come to consoles. Give us a chance, we are not all bad.

I completely agree with the first post, I am a pc gamer myself but there should be no need for the animosity we have towards you. The reason for all this is because you guys are the new kids on the block and don't fully understand the series yet, thus we feel we must ridicule console gamers because of that.

Thats it you've got it. They all look the same, thats why PC gamers resent console gamers because consoles wreck PC Gaming by dragging the graphics quality of games down to a level that can be achieved on a console. Infact the present consoles are even wrecking console gaming because Sony and MS are stalling new ones for as long as you keep buying games.

But thats not all.

When we say we want DX11 in the game you all act like we are spoilt brats because Crysis 2 runs a tad bit better on our ￡2000 PC's. Thats like complaining if somebody in a Porche overtakes your Ford Mondeo when you are doing 60mph on the autobahn.

Ya but your hate shouldn't be at us! If anything it should be at Crytek! And even then it shouldn't! Graphics do not, and never will make the game. It's about strong gameplay, a good story, and exciting components. Graphics would mean nothing if Crysis 2 wasn't fun, but it is!


It's as if PC gamers have forgotten what gaming is about! Socializing, and having fun!

Graphics are nice. But I would rather C2 to look like super mario 64 and play the way it does than for it to be the greatest looking game in the world and play like utter garbage.

Mostly immature kids hate people who play consoles. It's just extremely juvenile to not like someone for playing on consoles or to have bias against console people. It's like those people are 5 or something. Either that or they are spoiled brats who had their parents buy their PC/PC parts so they think they are better than everyone else when in reality they are incredibly insecure and have probably never ventured from the confines of their room in their parent's basemant.

And that's fact. I have met people who are biased against consoles. They are usually zit-covered tweens who are incredibly ignorant and incredibly stupid. The normal ones are the people who don't really give a **** and just play things to have fun or to take up spare time when they don't feel like doing anything else.

Besides, the new leaked Xbox version looks F***ing gorgeous and the PC version will undoubtedly look even better. Calm down dude (just a game, and an amazing one at that).

Well the only console users whose comments I dislike are ones who actively oppose the PC Gamers right to demand better, while simultaneously demanding better on a console (which is not even possible every top title on console is right at the top of what the hardware can do all of them every one except in the case of PS3 where exclusives go beyond what the hardware can do to all practical intents and purposes for a multi platform game). And even if they were some that were not you have many titles to choose from.

Even then I don't dislike the person just what they say.

Thank you for supporting the principle of improving the PC version, and also for not opposing it (this is uncommon among console gamers typically my experience has been that console gamers would rather we not have extra features). I'm glad you like it on 360! From where I am sitting it seems like the 360 version is an unqualified success, the same is probably true for the PC version on a lower spec PC.

DX11 is still up in the air and on PS3 different people have different views, but strong views none the less.

I'm a PC guy and I don't think DX11 is such a big deal. Sure it's nice, but DX9 still looks great to me. Just as long as there are no jaggies or crappy texture filtering (CAN'T STAND THOSE!), then i'm completely fine with how it looks, consolized or not.
