Dear Todd Howard

Folks, this member has every right to point out his/her perception of how the game is. You may post to agree, disagree or give your opinion on the matter. But please don't post just to bash on the OP or to give him/her a hard time. Disagree in a civil manner, or agree in a civil manner or debate using fair debate practices but if you don't like the thread, or just have nothing to add, don't post in it.

No body stops to post in it, it falls back a few pages and is forgotten. If there are enough who want to join in, it stays at the top but bumping it up just to bash on the OP or subject matter just causes disruption.

You're using IE, (internet explorer). I had the same issue until I installed Firefox.

Funny. I just read elsewhere with someone complaining the railroad was the only morally correct choice.

I agree with you somewhat OP, this game came off to me as a social experiment for simpletons, exactly like Facebook is. You also forgot to mention an important fact... this game is available via Steam only - this allows Devs/Corporations to extrapolate very detailed information about every single decision you make in the game. Steam calls them "achievements" - I call it "malware".

Steam achievement: "You chose to NOT sell the child into Slavery!" [example]

Every single aspect of the decisions you make in this game are considered highly valuable corporate informative data that is likely to be sent back to the dev/corporate parents and then sold off to the highest bidder, along with your personally indentifying Steam credentials.

They [console numpties and general people who don't think for themselves] will never ever allow themselves to believe this though, they simply refuse to believe it is a distinct and likely possibility that corporations are making social experiments out of nearly every aspect of their lives.

Damn, having an Xbox, I never realized that I can't think for myself. Sorry guys, I thought that learning another language, becoming a martial arts instructor, and supervisor at work qualified me as thinking for myself. Sorry everyone....

Seriously though, these posts insulting others that play on a different platform are just wrong.

You forgot to add in one of the Four response boxes... here let me help you.

[ ] YES

[ ] NO

[ ] MAYBE

[X] SARCASM

I really can not make it any simpler than that [not even If I had 7 years and a full team of developers working full time]

Posts being "wrong" is completely personal opinion. Forget the fact that 90% of console owners are too "streamlined" to be able to use a personal computer to its fullest extent, focus on the fact that more and more greedy corporations these days are DUMBING DOWN games EN-MASSE to appease the non-thinking console [de]generation. Bugger everyone else right? They're just a minority anyway :/

Wait, I was supposed to feel anything over this story outside of disappointment?

Dear Mr Howard

I completely disagree with OP for far fewer reasons and zero sarcasm or malicious intent.

Karmic balance.

Actually, given that you could be playing any role when you make these in-game decisions, any information gleaned from achievements or even from direct monitoring of gameplay is utterly worthless.

I think it's important to understand these things, it is clearly apparent that this was the first time Bethesda actually created something that is as fake in freedom of choice as this is, you had greater freedom in Skyrim, Fallout 3 and such then this game, on a mental level. There was no developer bias towards any kind of ending.

This can easily set a dangerous precedent for future games due to the fact that the devs might develop new games and entirely ignore the minority of players whom want to have their share of fun.
