http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/45894/? is, without question, one of my favorite mods from Skyrim and let me explain why.
As we all know in every recent Bethesda game (Oblivion, Fallout, Skyrim) when you die you simply reload from your last save. While this might be a hassle every once in a while, most of the time there is a save file moments before you bit the dust. We try again until eventually we succeed. In my opinion this lends itself to playing the game in manner in which one can just run-and-gun into any scenario without having to think about it. I know that's not how everyone plays, but the mechanic of simply loading up the game after death makes things a bit too easy on us. For us hard-core gamers like myself, I like to play the games as realistically as possible. While it's not for everyone, I've played many dead-is-dead playthroughs because it simply makes the game feel much more real and dangerous. I wanted to find a way to make it so I dreaded the possibility of dying but without having to start completely from scratch every time. When I found this mod, it was the clear answer to what I was looking for.
Now, the point.
Is there a mod like this in Fallout 3? If there is not, would anyone be willing to make one? It adds so much to the game and has so many possibilities for anyone creating the mod.
