I loved this game! I wrote a glowing review of how amazing it was just a few days ago. I've been playing for roughly a week.


Then today happened. I logged in 3 times today to collect goods, complete challenges, and then move on with my real life. I was attacked by deathclaws the second login of the day. They killed 60 dwellers. My citizens are all armed (except for maybe 2 or 3), and not with BB guns! I just logged in a second time and was attacked again. My Dweller count went from 133 this morning to 20 just now.


What the heck??? How am I supposed to revive that many people??? I am now regretting playing this game and am no longer recommending it. I watched in horror as my dwellers started dropping like flies. Some were NOT EVEN IN THE SAME ROOM and were losing health and dying. I jumped on to take some screen shots in the middle of writing this and some of them are still keeling over as I move around the screen.


I would like to continue playing this game, but feel no motivation to do so at this time. If you have a do-able solution, I'm willing to maybe work with it.

If you're getting that badly mauled by deathclaws, it means you're expanding your vault too quickly. You need to remove those dead dwellers to get under 60 population, or deathclaws will keep showing up. Once you're under 60, they stop.

Try to stay under 60 dwellers until you can fill your first few rooms with high level dwellers, equipped with good weapons. Sawed off shotguns don't really cut it, rares that do 10+ damage at the very least. Another important tip is to use smaller rooms. 3-wides are difficult to use stimpaks on fast enough. Also, if you train up endurance before leveling, your high level dwellers will have a lot more health.

The game should really give better warning of this, rather than just expecting people to figure it out, after getting demolished.
