Death Knight?

Since most of your magic will be shot based... AND I am now going to make a similar character... I took the time to select Death Knight appropriate shouts to intergrate into your arsenal

ALSO I am curious.... Would a deathknight werewolf be lore appropriate?
Seems ok to me but just curious

Tried to make it.

Didn't go too well as I found myself ditching my frost spells for my bow instead as I went OOM all the time.

And by the time I could enchant away the destruction spellcost on my armor, I could basically just spam Frostwave through the entire instance...

There's no middle ground for magic!

Either you are absolutely useless, or you are a demi god!

Yup, this is what my main character is. I based mine off of WoW so I'm spec'd into Alteration for the magic resist buffs, Conjuration for zombies, 2h swinging massive hammers at people. It's really a powerhouse archetype. I considered 1h with destruction runes and frost spells (or duel wielding axes like WoW frost DK's) but I'm already spec'd into 2h, never thought about those fear spells though. I'm considering upping the difficulty I play on, things go down quick.

Hmmmm, interesting, I rolled a DK during my WoW days, had a lot of fun.

Race, I'm thinking Breton

Skills, I reckon 2h, Heavy armour, conjuration and destruction.

Gear, gotta be Deadric,

Am I right?

I made a Death Knight yesteday, he's LVL 10 now. Its been fun so far! Been spending my points on Heavy armor, 2H, Conjuration and some smithing. Upped my magicka to 150 so I can use the Bound War Axe-spell. I made a Orc, you think thats ok? Im not that into lore and stuff, but I think it should fit the archetype. If I go in the Alteration tree, I can at least use the +20 magic resistance from there.
Planning, like some others here, to use Illision to get Fear (seems right).

Funny you mention that I actually have.

My Orc uses conjuration (necromancy perks) and a 2H Sword. Pretty fun stuff always having a zombie around.

My Breton uses a 2H sword, and Reanimation magic as well.

After reading through the thread, aye, my character is a death knight.

(No idea what death knight means though really.)

I chose a Orc for the double output and half dmg received power by the way. havent had so much use of it yet, only once, but it totally saved my life. Im usually one-'shotting' the Draugers anyways

Yes orc could be "lore wise correct"

Depends on the type of DK you want

Either the servant of a daedric prince (malacath)

OR a necromancer (we all remember the balmora mages guild orc)

Either way your are covered by orcish and tamrielic war so its all good :)

Wikipedia has a good summary of all the D&D editions as well as the various spinoffs,

Yeah, I found a good description, thanks for the tip.

On topic: There are a type of Death Knight I haven't seen here: The http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/939912-oblivion-character-database/page__p__13702563#entry13702563 class originally made for Oblivion by Odariz. This is the main inspiration to my personal Death Knight characters. Or soon to be characters. I only have 2 characters so far, and both were Crusaders(my second I "fixed" the perk setup from the first).

Sounds like a fun class. Paladin's may be fun, but being a Death Knight opens new boundary's, and discoveries.
