Death squads

The DLCS have a story Arch. Best to talk to Veronica before going to Dead Money, it will mean more that way.

OWB talks about Dead Money, so there is a toss up to where you go first. Most say to do DM before you go to OWB.

Honest Hearts can be done at anytime really, it is a low level DLC, and don't worry about what you can't bring with you, you will get what you need early one. And, don't shoot the guy who shows up after the first event, he is your friend.

Lonesome Road is high end, and you need to be in the high 20's to 30's to survive that place.

Well speaking of Veronica, that's were I'm stuck right now. I helped her leave the BS and we went to some safe house. Had to wait a day and come back and now there are several guys in power armor there from the BS that blow me away so fast I can't even react. I haven't figure out yet how to get past this point, kinda stuck.

I thought I read somewhere that one of the DLC you can't do if you already did the battle for the Dam. I was just wondering if I should just hold the MQ in place for a while and wrap up everything else before continuing. I'm just not sure where exactly that 'hold' spot is.

the legion aren't evil per se yes they use a lot of extreme methods but in a world of raiders and deathclaws they have to nipton was a cesspool of vile men for the most part now they did deserve to be stopped just not by the legion of course i kill the legion on sight but i understand what they try to accomplish

The battle for the dam is the end of the game. You can't do any DLC(or anything else in the game) afterward for that character.

The Paladins are a tough bunch. You'll want to use something that's effective against power armor like pulse weapons/projectiles/grenades.

To answer your second question, no. Once you complete the MQ, the game ends. Anything that you want to do, including the DLCs, must be completed before you enter the final battle at Hoover Dam. The game will warn you when you're about to cross the point of no return, though, and it will create an autosave at that point.
