New map pack out, far more value for money, but will the PC community buy this one seeing as they didn't buy the last one? Kinda stupid releaseing one so soon.

Weird that there's been no promotion for these maps. I can't imagine there gonna be a success as they're still too expensive and no one will buy them. Not wanting to whine but this seems a strange decision from EA. They should have done some more promotion for the Retaliation pack before releasing yet more maps that will further divide the player base.

The Retaliation DLC is pretty much obselete now. No point in ever buying it.

It would have been nice to play the retaliation map pack if people knew how to make rational based decisions about their money. If your already spending 2 - 4 hours a day playing Crysis, you get your monies worth in a week. Sure, crytek could give it for free. And a PC pack hasn't been announced, so hopefully they appease your whining asses, but for the time being:

I'm not buying it. I own four Crysis 2 servers now, and I am not upgrading any one of them to the DLC. One of them is the JEDI server, which you may have played on, was in the top 10 non-EA USA servers for many weeks (according to GameTracker) and still is as of last week.

So quiet a few other games offer free DLC packs or map packs. It's down to the principle of paying for map packs not about getting your money's worth. If the editor was released, we'd have lots of maps by now I'm sure.

Well I suppose ￡7.99 for 5 maps and 2 new weapons isn't a bad deal. I'll have to see if there are any servers running them at the weekend. I suppose the Retaliation pack is dead then, may as well release them for free.

And what happens when all you non-DLC players get owned by the FY71? Will you all buy the DLC just to get the weapon and stop getting owned by it? Hahahaa.

Not when the extra content costs more than a quarter of the price of the game, yet probably only takes weeks if that to make.
