Decisions, decisions. . .

It's been a little over three years since I have played either Oblivion or Morrowind due to school and work. I even had to reactivate my account on this forum which hasn't been active since 2007. Now that I have graduated AND moved to a new town I haven't had a whole lot to do besides work on my resume.

I didn't find out about the new Elder Scrolls game until about 2 weeks ago, and reading through the forums and the Skyrim subreddit has me pretty pumped about the new game AND feeling really nostalgic for the older ones. I'd really like to play a little bit of Oblivion or Morrowind buuuuut after spending and hour looking through unpacked boxes and finally finding Morrowind, Bloodmoon and Oblivion (I never got the expansion for it), I found myself a little torn between which one to upload onto my computer! Morrowind was a blast and I loved the landscape, the condescending high elves. the really racist dark elves and the cities, but I never really gave Oblivion as much of a chance since I was in college and not highschool when I started playing it (much less time). I also remember liking it less because everything kind of looked the same and it seemed smaller. Not to mention I'm a big baby and I hated playing the Oblivion Gates at night. ha.

I guess I'd just like some suggestions. Some pros and cons from those who have probably played much more recently than I have. I'm at the point now where I think I should do something a little more productive, but I just don't feel like it !!!

My guess is that you might enjoy Morrowind a little more. Solstheim is a great place to spend a few weeks to get in the mood for Skyrim.
