Decorating Dagoth Ur

Hey all

I'm currently adding some more detail to the citadel of Dagoth Ur to make it more creepy/disturbing without ruining the original mood of the game. I already use Darknut' Greater Dwemer Ruins mod which is fantastic, but most areas still feel very empty.

I'm still not sure if I should go for the 'evil villian lair' or aim for a more sinister, plotting Dagoth Ur and turn the room into a huge council chamber for the 6th House with large tables and chairs. Bowls of corpus meat instead of food, Ash Statues instead of flowers.

Another thing I wanted to incorporate was the failed crusades of the Buoyant Armigers/Temple into the citadel by either adding their mutilated corpses, or have them show up as Dreamers or Ash creatures.

And finally perhaps signs of how it used to be before Dagoth Ur fell to the corruption of the Heart, but I'm not sure on how to approach this.

Here's some work I've already done on the last area before the final battle.

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome!

I quite like that second image, showing the long isle towards the big baddie himself. It actually does justice to the descriptions of those Dreams he sends the player in the Main Quest. I think said dreams mentioned hanging corpses and halls of the dead? Maybe throw some of that in there.
