Deep Freeze Question

Do opponents paralyzed by deep freeze still take damage while frozen? Will followers and conjurations attack them while frozen?

Huh, good question. no I don't believe they take external damage, and sorry I don't recall a time where I've frozen an enemy and had back up.

Of course they do. They take damage like any other enemy with the paralysis spell cast on them. It's just a quick way using ice spells to end them if their health is low. Though shock spells have the best supporting perk and the only one really worth wasting a perk to get. Well I think intense flames is good if you use flame cloaks a lot as I do, since it makes most weaker opponents immediately run away from you when they get close if you combine it with illusions aspect of terror perk which you want anyway if you use destruction (it increases fire spell damage).

But disintegrate instantly kills them if their health gets below 10% which isn't useful against weaker opponents but is very useful against harder opponents or dragons that can take a lot of thunderbolts

Your game is glitched if they can't be killed when deep freezed though. I've used it before and it always paralyzes them when their health gets really low and then one more cast from ice spell always kills them. My dremora lords may ignore them if there were other enemies around on their feet but if it was just them they would always try to finish them off if I didn't.

You may be confused with freeze shout. If you get the freeze power for your frost breath shout in Dragonborn, that shout freezes everyone it hits. You can still do damage to them though, but you don't hit as hard. It's like a paralysis effect but one that gives them more armor while not making them invincible

The mindset that I can't hurt them and that they take DOT while frozen obscured my thoughts, sorry. I usually freeze them and go off somewhere else.
