Max was over joyed, he now had a weapon he could actualy use... that was suitable for close proximity fighting...
AND he had found an invaluable source of spare parts to modify his precious sniper...

As the Captain exited the room to join Max and Kyle in the corridor Max posed the question...
"Sir will i be needed to repair the lights or shall I remain guarding the stairs?"

Rude was unscathed by the sight of the mutilated Paladins, and expected to see far worse in the future. It was war, not prom night. Rude followed quietly behind his captain, his rifle ready for action.

OCC: DuckandCover, the two Knights are dead, I shot one in the head, and the other is bleeding to death.

Captain Smith looked at Pvt. Kyle for a moment, thinking of what to do, "Pvt. Kyle you and Pvt. "Rude", carfully grab him, and bring him down here, try and keep him stable... The rest of you, follow me, we're going to free Captain Syris", the two Troopers walked off as the rest of the squad contiued to the basemant, where the sound of a man's voice and other's could be heard torturing Captain Syris...

OCC: SideWynder0, you should post what's going on down there until I post when we get there.

Max pondered which of the two laser rifles he had snached to use...
He picked shoved on over his back and clapped a new MF cell into the rifle, again dropping the cobmat shotgun Max now had a laser rifle in his hands and 2 on his back leaving him quite enclumbered...

But he followed the Captain, his mind wondering thinking of the wonders he could do with all these extra parts...

Suddenly movement further down the corridor...
The Captain, Max and the 2nd trooper are sitting ducks in the corridor...
"Movement sir! Hostile or Friendly?"

Max fires a shot down the center of the corridor to light up the target...

Kyle and Rude went to grab Kenneth. When they got to him he was still kicking and made a few smart-ass remarks. They took off the torn and bloodied armor off and they carried him down the to the room with the executed Knights. Downstairs he changed his bandages and made a makeshift IV for him. They put him up on a bunk and injected another syrette of Morphine into his arm.........

-DOWN IN THE BAsemanT-

The door to the generator room he was in burst open revealing his two best buddies. One of the two Brotherhood fanatics pulled his chair back to the center of the room.
"Think your funny huh?" -smack!- -smack!-

Malik grins at the first soldier.
"Well I've been told so..." -smack!-

The Brotherhood soldier leans in close and whispers in the Captain's ear, "I'm gonna enjoy this!"

"ME TOO!!" Malik replies and rips his hands free from the half cut ropes binding him to the chair. The second soldiers eyes goes wide and he grabs something from the table nearby. The first soldier pulls back to get some distance but Malik grabs him by the front of his armor and pushes him toward his buddy. The soldier farther away fires a shot punching through his friends backplate on his armor. The Captain continues his rush and slams the bleeding BoS member into the other, both crushing against the wall. Still a good hold on the enemy Malik activates his armor, sending currents of electricity through both soldiers. The two soldiers scream in pain and Malik can smell their flesh burn into their armor. Captain Cyris steps back both men falling to the floor.

Ok well that solves that, now to get out of here! He moves to the door and pulls on the handle... he pushes on the handle. Tilting his head he even gives the handle a strong kick, nothing. Stepping back Malik's foot scraqes against something on the floor. It was the weapon the soldier shot his friend in the back with.

My .44 !! Oh thankyou whoever's up there! Turning back to the door Malik takes aim and pulls the trigger!!

Rude propped the man over his shoulders and told Kyle to lead on.

A shot is returrned just mising Max's head...

Fair ****ing game if your gonna shoot back

Max returns a volley of shots at the Targets area...

Crack... Crack.... Crack.... Phzzzz

The smell of charred flesh can be smelt down the corridor...
Ahhh Max liked laser weapons, as opposed to melting them it burnt them... a much more, distinct noise and sound...



Max decided to put his sneak skills to use as everyone else in the building was waering power armour no one else could sneak and seem as his attempt so get other troopers to lead on where failing he decided it was safer than being a sitting duck...

"Ok Rude he's good for now, so do you wan't to hold here or help free the captain?"

He set Kenneth up in the corner of the room and handed him a combat shotgun.

Max was silently moving his way down the corridor...
He had made it most of the way now, moving almost silently with his combat boots compaired to the enclave power armour heavy foot steps of his companions...
He had passed a number of doors including the one with the dead Bos soldier in... He was temped to take another laser rifle... but though against it...

By the time Max reached the end of the corridor he could hear a dull thuding sound of what sounded like a man banging on a thick steel door..

"I thought the Captain's orders were to bring Hoplong along with us, back to him. I guess I'll babysit. Come back with some good news, and a few women if you can find some." joked Rude as he let Kenneth down gently.

Smith could hear the sound of a man pounding on a metal door, "Hay malik is that you, its Captain Smith...", the captain along with the max, fire at the lock outside of the door, the lock breaks instantly, as smith reaches to open the door. The door is some what heavy, but smith's armor give's him that extra bit of strength, "S*** malik, what did they do to you?" smith said shaking the captains hand in joy...

Max jumps up whipping out his multimeter and minicomputer...
He runs over to the generator...

"Sir I know your in shock but if you could just tell me what happened to the generator and I can get it fixed in a giffie"

Kicking open a pair of doors Lt. Gursky hears a " Thud, Thud, Thud." He then hears Cpt. Smith's voice say "Hey Malik is that you" Jack and the squad then ran down a hallway to see Cpt. Smith and Cpt. Malik shaking hands. Lt. Gursky The said " Hey, you both look like hell!"

"Welcome to the Barbeque Smith sorry about the lights..

"Screw the generator we gotta clear the roof so those snipers can take out the mortar team!" Malik eyes the techie " But if you feel the need I think this part broke off.... " The Captain kicks a part in his direction.

"Took ya long enough. Let's get that roof cleared!" As the Enclave techie bends down to pick up the part Malik leans closer to Smith and claps him on the shoulder. "Thanks, those BoS fanatics punch hard I'll give em that!"

Malik pushes past Smith and walks down the hallway toward the stairs. An Enclave soldier guarding the hallway turns and Salutes both Captains."

"You! Find me something that shoots straight would you, this ones empty!!"

Max follows the 2nd captain...

"Erm sir, Im carrying 3 laser rifles if you want a gun...." He pasues and then adds a cheeky end
"but I kinda want it back when we get back to base... parts are scarce..."

Whilst Max follows the Captain up the corridor he collects the 3rd laser rifle off the soldier he killed... He is now increably enclumbered but intents to leave them on the roof to collect before they set off back to base camp... or atleast before he has a break and can mod his weapon...

Captain Smith rushes over to Mailk making sure he's still able to walk, "Hay, are you ok to still work, you know I won't be held back by someone who can't do their job. Also me and Pvt. Max found a room stashed full of old C4, once we finish off the mortar team, we can blow this building for a distraction", Captain Smith looked up the stair case realizing that Lt. Gursky was walking down with his squad, "Where the hell have you been, you missed all the fun!"...

Making it back to the ground floor Max walks to the door they came in and dumps 2 of the laser rifles...

He then takes out his modified scoped laser rifle and heads outside...

"Negative on that Smith, that would be some nice ordnance, we'll bring back as much as we can carry. I'll let you and your men clear the rooftop, then the sniper team can get up there to get a good shot on the mortar team on the bowling alley." Malik gets up the stairs and begins to see stars.

Ok maybe I'll stay down here for a bit.

"Go ahead and do your deal, then call in the Vertibird with the sniper team. Unless you've got a crackshot with a rifle, they're the only ones who are gonna do us anygood."

Captain Cyris walks past an open doorway and peers inside as he passes by. There are acouple of dead BoS Soldiers near a table. The table contains a hand and many fingers freshly cut on top. Malik turns to Smith, "I doubt any of them did that, and you ask me what did those two guys ever did to me?? Psch" He grins at the other Captain and continues on his way toward the Lobby. Grabbing one of the Laser Rifles from the soldier he simply nods at him.

"I'll hold the entrance you guys do what you gotta do."

"HaHaHa, I would have of got here sooner but the lights went off, Sorry I missed the barbeque. No where are we now? And if somebody needs a weapon there is a lazer rifle next to a Palidin with a broken neck a couple yards up the stairs."

Jogging back to his sniper possition from when they where camped outside the building he has a clear view of the roof.
4 Soldiers remained on the roof..

Three guarded the stairs whilst one communicated with the mortor team by radio...
Max could see reinforcements heading from behind the Super Duper market towards the door he had recently left...

With no way to tell the rest of his group who where now either heading into the ambush on the roof or just about to get suprised by 5 Bos knights charging in the front door Max picked a target on the roof...

He chose on of the soldiers guarding the stairs to try and get them all to move from thier ambushing possitions...

The Target was crouched with a combat shotgun trained on the stairs... Max moved his scope over the soldiers right eye and squeesed the trigger....

Captain Smith motioned to one of the Trooper to help Captain Cyris back to Hill Site 56, "Dont worry Malik you won't miss any of the fireworks, and as for you Lieutenant Gursky, I want your squad to gather all that you can from that room on the third floor, second door on the right, gather all the old C4 you can, but be careful with it, its old remember. My squad will clear the roor, and call in the sniper team, before we meet you all back at the base", the Captain along with his squad walked up the stairs to finish what they had come to do...

OCC: This is the time for everyone to post what their character is doing.

Max saw the other 3 Bos Soldiers beguin to panic... The one on the radio dived to the floor whilst the other two attemped to hide whilst still covering the stairs...

Max no longer had the suprise... He squeesed the trigger again shooting at another trooper covering the stairs but this time it was a glancing blow, ripping a small chunk out of his armour and muscle of the soldier right arm...

Rude looked on as Kyle went off to fulfill his duty. Rude sat down across from Kenneth. "I can't believe how long it took you guys to get to me." said Kenneth followed up by a sneer. "Uh huh." replied Rude. Rude rested his head on his hand and let out a sigh. "It's a wonder any of you have survived this long ... the way you carry about with things."

Hopalong is starting to piss me off. "Yeah."

"What's taking so long? Did that Kyle guy go to powder his face and put on some makeup?" asked Kenneth with a very stupid look upon his face.

Rude kept quiet and restrained himself from killing the man and claiming a rebel came in with a butter knife and did him in, though the idea was tempting.

"I'm talking to you, damnit!" he said in a very snooty tone.

Rude ignored him again. Hurry up, Kyle.

"Do you not hear my voice? Am I not talking to you? ANSWER ME!"

And Rude did just that. He answered him with his fist. The silence that occured afterward was a refreshing one.

" How the hell are we supposed to rigg the C4 up. I dont know anything about explosians"Jack and the rest of the quad then move to the room full of C4. " I hope this **** isn't rigged. Ummmm, Jason and Miller grab as much as you can."
