I picked up Oblivion for the first time in a little while and decided to put in some mods. Fortunately I am compitent enough to know to use certain tools to help manage my mods; not that I have many mods in the first place. Either way, almost all the mods are mods I used before, except this time, Oblivion seemed to lose a hold of it's physics engine...well, atleast on the player character. And while the result is quite hilarious to watch, it has gotten bothersome too.

Now before you tell me to go into the console and turn no-clip off, let me explain what happens: I can walk, run, jump and fall normally just fine. It's combat that turns aerial. One power attack from an enemy whisks my character away at high speeds, though the same doesn't apply when I power attack the enemy. In fact, one time, I was minding my own business taking care of the Duke of Mania's quest, while I was running over to the cave to get addicted to the felldew, one of the tree-like enemies struck me, sending me flying south, past New Sheoth, past The Fringe, and against the soft wall, preventing me from flying any further south, and instead, I flew up until I ran out of momentum, and by that time, I could see from one end of the Shivering Isles to the next.

Believe me, it was halarious... while that was the only case it happened that bad, there have still been times when enemies we send me flying at high speeds into a wall where I would proceed to die, also, on other occasions, enemies have hit me hard enough to break the collision of the cave walls.

My only guess has been maybe my characters weight isn't high enough - as the race I am playing is made by me - I figured, perhaps maybe I accidentally adjusted the weight to be really low.

Any ideas?

Well this is simply to bump the thread back up since it has landed on the third page. Hopefully someone will see it who has an idea what's going on.

It might be that your race has too low of a weight. You could always try adjusting it down. Otherwise I only really had those problems when I used high damage modules.

Well I adjusted my characters weight...and then my character magically became flat and fat...it was kind of funny, and when it first happened I was thinking, "WTF?" but then it occurred to me...adjusting race's weight also adjusts their body size...which funny enough, I never knew that.
Aside from that, the only combat altering mod (that I can think of) that I had in was Deadly Reflex, but it started acting all screwy on me so I removed it...the only mod I can think of (after looking at my LO) is [CENSOR]...I never used it in my previous games. Just this new game, I was going to try vamprisim so I installed that mod (An even though I have clocked over 10 hours on this new save, I have still of yet to become a vampire)

Well I tried removing the mod which name is unspeakable (Voldemort) in hopes that would be the resolution to the problem...but I had this feeling it would be, and that feeling was right.
