Delayed controls with ALL Bethesda games.

About half a year ago, I moved to Canada and got a new PC. I was very eager to finally play Skyrim, but when I started playing it, I noticed (in the "brick in the face|" kind of way) that ALL my controls were delayed. I installed and tried Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and they all had the sme problem: every time I pressed a key, or moved the mouse, it took around one second before the character moved ingame. I have no fps problems, only with the phisycal controls. The 360 controler is off, V-sync is off, the only adapter is the NVidia one, I even tried some .ini modifications and nothing worked.

I tend to think that it's a problem between the games engine, and my pc. This affects only and all the Bethesda games.

Are you still having this issue when you have v-sync on?

OP, interesting you bought this up, I thought I was the only one experiencing this in Skyrim. I can't comment on the other Beth games, its been quite some time since I last played them. As in well over a year back.

I've noticed a small delay on my Ctrl key which by default is the crouching action control for PC. At first I thought its because maybe I'm not pushing it hard enough in the first place, but NO, after some testing, doesn't matter how much pressure I use on it, there is still that noticeable delay. This is the only keyboard control I've noticed this with as far as I can consciously tell anyway.

What kind of keybord do you use? eg. mechanical or conventional?

Also, is your OS 64bit based or traditional 32 bit? I'm only asking this because of the WOW emulation layer in 64bit OS's using 32bit programs like Skyrim for example. The code has to transmit throught this before it gets actually working, thus encouraging delays.

I have no special drivers from the manufacturer for my mechanical keyboard, it just uses default OS drivers for this device.

I lost count of the amount of times my characters have been severely injured or died because of that delay... but I justify spamming potions to compensate...lol..

Yes, I originally found this problem while the v-sync was on by default.

Conventional keyboard. Don't think it's a hardware problem, since no other games are affected, except for the Bethesda ones. My OS is 64bit, but I don't know if it's based on the 32 one.
