Delaying Tribunal's Start

Post » Sat Apr 19, 2014 5:58 am

Here's the situation: For role play purposes, I absolutely hate that Tribunal starts immediately, and that you're visited by assassins in your sleep right away. Honestly, I've been off the bloody boat for twenty minutes, I rest, and I'm visited in my sleep by assassins wanting to kill the Nerevarine.

I've been looking around in the CS, spent hours pouring over hundreds of scripts, globals, etc, and I'm at a loss at this point. What I want to do, in essence, is create a small .esp that sets Tribunal to not launch until stage 50 of C3_DestroyDagoth (which is set after you meet Azura as you flee Red Mountain).

Is there a particular item in the CS that I overlooked? Is this hardcoded into the expansion or what? It's not the biggest deal to me, but I just find it rather silly that I'm being killed for being the Nerevarine when I'm not yet the Nerevarine.

Any assistance in this matter would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Well, I guess that works out lovely then. If someone else has done the work for me, then I don't have to bother and I can focus on bigger and better things. Thanks! :)

There is another mod that sets the game to start the attacks at level 6 like the consoles. It is easy to deal with them at that time as I can treat them as just another attack in the game. And, once you speak the person in Ebonheart, the attacks stop. It is also nice to have access to the city for shopping purposes (only actual soul gem merchant in the game) as you can ignore than main quest in that area as long as you want. Unfortunately, I can't find that mod, it may not have made over from PES. I used to have it, but I can't find it.

There are at least three mods at MMH that do something like that although they all seem to have other conditions too. Search for Delay.
