One of the most painful aspects of Oblivion is the inability to remove unused spells

I hope Bethesda has fixed this problem. I am surprised they never took the time to patch such a frustrating problem in oblivion

Never really bothered me. Maybe not "delete" them. But maybe hide them?

Why does it matter? Why would you need to delete a spell? There was never a negative consequence for having one. So you should get as many as you can and keep them.

For some people that use and create lots of spells, their lists of spells can become quite extensive. No use having to hunt through long lists to find the one you want.

Very long list. And it really svcks if you can't quite remember what you named that new one...

With five variants of different power for each spell, if you played a character that was 50+ % mage, you didn't even need to make your own spells for your spell list to get really cluttered on the high levels.
