Yay I can finally speak through the dissapearing flames of the other thread.

Well, im worried about that machine who cuts wood. does it mean other technology will appear? I like the game dark age style :< Please no machines... windmill is probably the most i will consider acceptable.

Cool thanks! Only thing that is a bit strange in my opinion is "when they breathe fire, that's talk, combat is a debate to dragons". What's that supposed to mean? I hoped we could actually talk with dragons...

That means the dragons are not like "Look I breathe fire", instead they use dragonshouts, so imagine fighting with a dragon, you character can shout Fus Ro Da! and the dragon shouts, well whatever the shout for his power is, so with all the shouting it looks like you're debating with him.

And I won't mind dragons leveling up with you. I liked that thing about Oblivion and it makes sense to me that dragons have to be fearsome enemies regardless of your level.

Ofcourse they need to be fearsome, what is the point of a dragon that doesn't make your heart beat a little faster upon first sight... What I meant was that I hope that killing a dragon on level 3 or on level 45 isn't going to take the same effort and / or be the same experience on all occasions. I think that, part of levelling up and learning new dragon shouts is the feeling of being able to master the dragons quicker, or at least more skillfully. In my opinion dragons should be very hard to near impossible to kill on lower levels, be a real pain on medium levels and a fierce fight on higher levels. So level scaling wouldn't hurt as long as it's not some kind of player level = dragon level construction. What's the point of learning new shouts, spells and levelling up if killing the most important enemies in the game is going to be the same experience from level 1 up?

I don't think I'll be able to wait 6 more months. This game is awesome and I can't wait to play it.

Ancient Romans had water powered saw-mills for cutting marble and stone. There were wind and water powered saw-mills for lumber in the Middle Ages as well. I can deal with wind or water powered saw mills and grain mills, but I don't think I would like a lot of "technology".

In ancient times they had alot of tech it was just diff from what we use today, but not so much you wouldnt recognize it though, they had cranes, and they used ropes and pulleys, saws/hammers/sledges/axes/adzes/lathes/ect,... as long as they keep it "low-tech" I am pleased,... no guns, no gun powder, would be acceptable tho because they just wouldnt feel right in TES even if they had such in the bronze age

I think Howard said that some dragons (probably story important ones) also speak common-tongue.

Crouching in the dark Todd fires and arrow into a thief's head, the thief's friend draws her sword. "I know i heard something" Sneak attack bonus x2, she runs at the shadows and gets her own arrow to the face.

Hmmmm..so the thiefs friend saw her buddy getting shot in the head with an arrow, and all she says is "I know i heard something"???? i hope no :banghead:

She actually reacted to seeing her buddy getting shot, I'll say it's an improvement.

I really like the fact that we are getting more interactive environmrnts ie the cutting of the lamp and the hacking away of the spider webs. also I noticed that he mentioned that there was a fog that he had to use detect life in to see the guards through it. this sounds really awsome to me and also makes me hope that there will be different typed of wether other that light snow and rain. maby like a blizard that hits and greatly reduces your visibility. imagin your fighting a dragon on top of a mountain when a blizard rolls in and suddenly you cant see your target untill it swoops down and cuts through the snow. that would be awsome in my opinion and after fighting and killing a dragon in conditions like that i would feel like even more of a badass dragon slayer.

That kind of dragon fight would be nothing short of epic. I really hope we see some cool blizzards.

So assuming you help stimulate the economy in Riverwood, it seems like it shouldn't be too hard to keep a supply of arrows. According to the article anyway...

If the environment is so much more interactive, it seems like we're going to have to *think* a lot more to complete whatever is thrown at us in a quest. It sounds good to me. Thank you for posting this. :)

Just be careful, and don't get your hopes too high. The thought of fighting a dragon, "movie-style", does sound exhilarating, however, I don't think that Beth will have the time to include things like that. Maybe a mod will come out, you never know! :P

When time resumes an angry, floating Dragon Priest appears and summons a Frost Atronach, a curved headed, no faced upright lobster creature with an electric blue shell, Todd smashes at both of them with fire and swords until they're dead.

Damn it. I literaly just necro'd a three day old thread to post this information there. Oh well, too late now...
