Started with Morrowind, then moved onto Oblivion later, and the latter one is my current favorite.

started with Oblivion, still my favorite game.

As I've played each game, I've found that they each have something which they achieve higher then their brothers.

As it all gets added together, Oblivion is simply the game that overall achieves a higher entertainment value, according to what --> I <-- appreciate.

Started with Morrowind, briefly tried Daggerfall Arena and went on to Oblivion. Oblivion remains the current favorite. :meh:

I edited your quote to fit my own experience. Yes, I'm lazy like that.

Started with Morrowind. Went back and played Arena. Played Daggerfall. Played Oblivion.

Morrowind is still my favorite, but I also enjoyed Daggerfall, and Arena wasn't half bad as a more action oriented game.

Played Morrowind first. Then played Oblivion. Then played Arena. Then played Daggerfall. Then played Redguard.

Morrowind is still my favorite, but Daggerfall has come to a very close second. Reguard follows in a close third.

Played MW 1st then Oblivion. Currently on my 1st DF character.
I like MW best still. DF has some excellent features but I find the towns lack atmosphere, the NPCs lack character and the random quests and dungeons are monotonous. it does have a very good main quest though. Haven't finished it yet but so far I'd say it is the best main quest of the 3 games.

Not going to get into the whole "which is better" discussion, 'cause I'm a wimp.... No, actually because people's mileage may vary and the difference between, say Daggerfall and Oblivion, is pretty huge. So, even though they are both TES games, the playing experience is quite different. I play different TES games depending on what I feel like doing- immersive: role-playing= MW; dungeon-crawling= DF; eye-candy and oddball questing= OB.

As to my answers- I got DF first and love it (even on a 486)- I eventually created a DOS partition on my newer PC to continue playing it. Bought MW vanilla and then each expansion and still play that, too. OB Collector's plus all expansions (again, as they came out) and I have not yet explored all of it.

I think thats undoubtedly true
DF was the most ambitious in terms of the scale of what it attempted to cover, MW went almost to the opposite extreme in covering a small area in extreme detail. Oblivion somewhere between the 2 but closer to MW than DF. Which you prefer is more a matter of the style you prefer than anything else (IMO)

Started with MW, then expansions, then OB, recently took a stab or three at Daggerfall.

I love both MW and OB, and alternate between them, both remain installed permanently these days. I enjoy them each for different reasons though.

Morrowind was my first. Despite its flaws I still think it is a really great game. Morrowind had such an epic feel to it in terms of the game world. I really enjoyed finding obscure caves and tombs and things. I hope the next game can duplicate the feeling.

First game I played was Arena. A friends' copy. Years later, I got Daggerfall. That didn't last long. I should play it some day. Then I wanted to get Oblivion, but my computer was too pathetic, so I got Morrowind. A few years have passed, and now, I played Oblivion. It's quite nice, I must say.

Started with Oblivion. Have played a bit of Daggerfall when it came out for free, and I am considering getting Morrowind on Steam.

Began with OB, that ran out of steam. Played Morrowind, liked it even better. Then played Daggerfall, and its the best so far.

I found out about Oblivion in Gamesmaster when they first reviewed it, and i though it looked incredible. Unfortunatly i didnt have a xbox 360 or a PC, so i did some hunting and found Morrowind for Xbox and played that for some time. I loved it, but as strange as it sounds, i couldnt quite get into it that much.. After weeks of saving up I finally got a 360 and bought Oblivion. Love it. Still play it constantly, but I'd love to go back and give morrowind another shot.

- Very brief Daggerfall exposure from a friend (mind blowing!)
- Morrowind Xbox (I knew to buy it from my brief Daggerfall exposure)
- Oblivion Xbox 360 (Duh, you have to get it if you liked Morrowind/Daggerfall)
- Morrowind PC (Bored with Oblivion very soon after, wanted MW mods/CS)

started with MW. i think for ppl who played OB first it makes sense tht they like it more. when i was playing Mw i hated the melee combat, and it was a bit annoying with the [censored] stats for athletics and acrobatics, but when you get those stats up a bit, then its the best game in the world. almost literally. but having played both, when i got really into one of them, Mw was better. there were also tremendous flaws in OB though which i think brought it down below Mw. If there was an Mw now, and an OB now competing against eachother, i think Mw would blow OB out of the water.

I started with Arena. To be honest, I hardly remember it, or Daggerfall, since I played them so long ago. I downloaded the free version of Daggerfall, but couldn't get into it, mainly because of the controls. LucasArts is updating some of its classics to use modern graphics/controls, and bringing them out again. I'd love to see Bethesda do the same with Arena and Daggerfall.
As for my favourite, both Morrowind and Oblivion. I played Morrowind for years, and now Oblivion is getting the same treatment.

That's what i'm talkin about

I started with Oblivion and it's still my favourite game. I then tried Morrowind, Arena and Daggerfall, although I've only played the tutorial dungeon of Arena. I do think the other TES-games are great, and I can surely understand why so many prefer Morrowind, it is a great game. But my favourite is still Oblivion.

As for TES V, the "perfect" game for me would be a game that combined Oblivion's beauty and battle system with the complexity of MW and DF.

Started with Morrowind and it is still my favorite. Although I shortly played Daggerfall I chose "Played only one TES-Game" because it was actually a very brief try.
I'll probably try DF again, but not right now, there are too many nice Morrowind Mods out there :P

Started with Morrowind, loved it more than a human being should ever love a game, went back and paid a ridiculous amount of money on Ebay for Daggerfall, followed by Oblivion then Arena.

Morrowind remains my favourite, closely followed by Daggerfall.
