While this is a good concept, I think Bethesda has already worked hard enough to get textures/graphics in play without loading screens between areas on the map. This was largely one of my biggest pet peeves with Oblivion and Morrowind [walk 100 yards and have a loading screen]. While Skyrim will have many improvements over previous TES games, I don't see this happening. As in another thread, people were concerned about rain going through buildings...... really? First you want better dungeons (so they improve the dungeons and caves) and now gamers are worried about rain passing through solid stone in a tower. While in life, "the smaller things in life matter the most", this is a video game, not reality. While fog might decrease vision to some extent, the major changes ( eg. new class system, perks, dual wield, advanced NPC conversation, real time economies) are what people want, not small changes that don't affect gameplay. I feel these major changes highly outweigh the smaller changes.
