S.P.E.C.I.A.L in depth?

Is there any place to see (or does anyone know) how, EXACTLY, the befefits from the attributes are tallied? For example, the exact XP bonuses for each level of intelligence or the exact critical recharge rate with each level of luck.

It would be nice to know the exact benefits outside of just perk requirements.

I've heard that INT gives about 6.5% more XP per point.

Not Sure But Hp is based on current endurance when you level so having 9 and getting the bobble head asap would be a good idea so you won't lose out on to much hp as i read somewhere that health stops scaling at level 50 and endurance is not retroactive for the per level ammount

Whoa, that kind of changes my opinion on endurance significantly, something like that is nice to know ahead of time.

I'm not 100% sure what you even mean, to be honest, as pertains to endurance not bring retroactive.

They should really explain this stuff, always annoys me with Fallout. Especially when you are dealing with a lot less attribute points this time. Each one makes a difference but there's no real way to know how much difference.

I think he means that, for example, if you have 1 endurance when you level up, you would get 10 more max HP. So at level 50, you would have gained a total of 500 extra max HP. If you spent the next 10 levels increasing your endurance, you won't get the extra HP for the 50 levels you leveled with only 1 endurance. If you started with 10 endurance, you would have 5000 extra max HP at level 50.

(I made up the numbers for this example btw.)

Yeah I was poking around on reddit and sort of figured that out...seems most people thing it IS retroactive, but I didn't see anything certain.

Apparently what I am looking for are the exact "derived statistics" for the attributes, which turned up a bit more, but not too much.

I saw a few snippets of info on Reddit from people who had the game. They might have been removed. The testing showed INT gives about 6.5% XP per point and endurance being retroactive in terms of increasing hit points. I'm not sure what the level cap is for gaining hit points or if there is one. There was also pvssyr about the bobbleheads allowing the SPECIAL stats to reach eleven (a la Spinal Tap) if the character has a ten when they are picked up, but you can't raise the stats to eleven by adding perk ranks after the bobblehead is picked up. I also heard wearing power armor can set the character's strength to eleven, but it may only be a certain model or upgrade.

HP = 80 + (END x 5) and increase by 3 + (END/3) per level rounded up max hp without perks is around 480 min is around 285 not a thats nearly 60% more hp with high endurance
