Descent 1 on a playstation

Does anyone know if dualshock controllers worked with descent 1 or did you need to have the ones without the joysticks?

nope. you have to use the d-pad. leave the anolog button off.
edit: dual shock controllers will work, but as i said, leave the anolog button off. Image
