Descent 3 on Steam?

Post » Sat May 17, 2014 10:05 pm

Just wondering if there are any plans to put Descent 3 on Steam. I know Duper said that the engine and licensing for the game were way different than for D1 and D2, but I'm just curious about whether or not it is something that is being worked on because I would rather buy on Steam than on GOG.

you might want to as the gals at https://www.facebook.com/OldeSkuul.

They're the one's that have been doing the Steam modding. ...or whatever you call it. :) They would be the one's that would have the info and are more likely to answer there than here. ...uh.. IF they can answer.

Yea I did too, but no reply yet lol I know they're busy, which is why I'm not nothing them as much. Besides, I'm just excited about Sol Contingency so I've gone and designed a couple of maps for them on UDK, both WIPs (one finished, but needs to be cleaned up badly, and the other one is about 75% done). Once the demo comes out, I'm gonna pool their resources to make even better maps. I'm totally stoked XD I've just been practicing my dog-fighting in DXX-Rebirth so I won't be crap when SolC comes out XD

Found my D3 and FS2, so I'm a happy camper. Still, if they provide ample support (perhaps widescreen support) I'll definitely buy D3 again on Steam XD
