I just started to play a battlemage kind of custom character in Daggerfall. I don't have much experience with Daggerfall, and this is the first time I try a spellcaster.

I have three starting spells. If I remember correctly they are slowfall, chameleon and shock. Both the slowfall spell and the chameleon spell seem to work fine, but I can't figure out how my shock spell works.

How do I cast it?

For any offense spells like Shock, press the "Activate Center Object" Button, usually on the target at the Center of ya screen if one uses Mouse view. In Cursor mode, just click on the foe after ya load in ya offense spell.
