Like many here I have downloaded hundreds of mods - if I have collected them from a main site like PES or Nexus they almost always come with a readme - however occasionally modders will release work here on the official forum using a file sharing site and these mods don't always come with a readme making it unclear if not impossible to reuse the content

I have a female hair I would like to use for a mod but do not know who created it and whether there is permission to use it in Morrowind

Any help in identifying it would be greatly appreciated

I have searched Nexus, PES and Yacoby's search engine with no results

It is called Allura and came with two original texture and 20 recolours which are prefixed WAR - which suggests Westly - however Westly always provides very clear and concise readme's so I can't assume that he converted or did anything on this mesh - I don't think it was by Mandamus as he always has his name on the textures - looks a little like his big hair works though

When I made the textures way back when, it was from a version that I think Axel
converted and was passed on to me by Harborgolfer. AFAIK, its from a poser mesh
(its been so long but I am certain that it is just I am not sure who the original mesh maker
was). That probably was not very helpful, but perhaps it will point you in right direction
to ask a few people directly .

EDIT: it was originally distributed over at enmesharra's place (and I
only gave the textures to the gang over there in a "private" fashion).
While I don't mind them being in Akavir's pack and resused in other
ways (its just a hair tex afterall), a nod would havebeen nice seeing
as they were never actually made public' til his pack.

Westly - thanks for the additional background - I ended up doing a search of Daz3D and the http://www.daz3d.com/i/shop/itemdetails/-/?item=4881 is indeed one of their models - they are very clear about not allowing their models to be converted and distributed

I will not be using this mesh in my mod
