Hah! Snipe with a minigun. The minigun is far too inaccurate. Slapping a scope on a minigun means you might as well use binoculars. Only with binoculars, you haven't wasted an attachment and lost your aim-in function. You shouldn't even be able to aim in with miniguns anyway, as they are hip-fire weapons. Trying to aim down the sights on a minigun and firing would almost certainly rip your arm out its socket.
Anyway, a proper (gaming) sniper doesn't need OHK. As long as you work with teammates, eliminate important targets, or just short them in the back to help that Light Op. to finish him off. You see them taking out a teammate or a sentry, you go for them. If they are in the thick of battle, then they will VERY likely be already damaged. It annoys me that (gaming) snipers never think about their targets, or where they target them from. I would much rather kill the TF2 engineer building the sentry than the other sniper. Chances are, i'm a very good sniper, so if i take out the engi, the other sniper won't be able to take me out (too slow, he missed, etc.). And chances are, he will be in the same position that every other sniper is in every other game. I understand on some maps in some games, it is just about impossible to get somewhere new (e.g. 2fort). But is it really that hard to find somewhere new, and inventive. If you find somewhere new, then you are MUCH less likely to get BS. And is it that hard to keep moving. If the enemy finds your spot, and knows how good you are, just MOVE.
I am almost glad that they took away several aspects. It will mean less competition to take out targets. I think sniping will almost be better in BRINK as well, as with parkour, you can find a new and inventive spot almost every time you play.
