But will your mini gun be able to mow him down from every range?

what about the shot gun that definately wont get him, if I was a heavy type Id be packing a light rifle as a secondary just in case.

Or a more common assault rifle, although that wouldn't be a bad idea.

I will most definitely be using a Light Rifle, I never cared about my K/D, nor did I care about being on the front lines. I liked to pick off that one guy running for his dear life within an inch of death, he gets behind cover and thinks he's going to live, that's when I come in from out of the blue, from my vantage point and put a round into his skull, and laugh maniacally while he ragequits.

Maybe I explained that to well, but I was never for frontlines, I was always a spotter, and gave suppression, and that guy that was mentioned earlier is a good target as well.

Your K/D isn't listed in the game.

I am hoping the freedom of movement shines so bright that its a cake walk getting behind snipers. Hate them darn snipers. There is no greater pleasure than killing a sniper with a melee weapon, which is probably why I would like to see more melee weapons.

I see you play spy in TF2.

A clever sniper (e.g. myself) doesn't let enemies get behind him. The thing i hope exists in BRINK is footsteps. I have gotten so many kills as a sniper from turning around, or going down to the sewers because i hear footsteps, or more specifically, footsteps in the water. I love it when people think they got the one-up on me, but then are surprised when i turn around and machete them in the face. BRINK makes my life so much easier. I can snipe i so many more places with the addition of SMART. Operative is the best class in the universe. Imagine following an interesting path with your teammate running alongside you. Suddenly, half your health is drained as your teammate turns out to be an enemy sniper. He blows your head off as you turn in surprise. If you read my older post, you can tell i prefer to sniper strategically. Finding new positions will be so much fun. It will be even more fun if i can do it in a disguise and i am much less likely to be seen on the way. BRINK has me giggling with glee at much easier it has made my life.

Depends on your build.

If you aren't light, than it won't always be easy. Lights are more likely to use light rifles. If they are engineers they can lay down mines and turrents to cover their flank, if you can get to them. There are probably going to be some light only areas that are too high for everyone else.

There are places like this, for sure.

You pretty much figured out my strategy.
Minefield

But I'm guessing that there will be some choke points that are rather forced with few ways around it so that Sniping will be easier with fewer flankings.

So true, snipers with no situational awareness don't last long.

I still believe that engineer would be the best sniper class.
