Destiny of the Covenant and the Pact

So, we all know about the various alliances of ESO, as well as the period in which it takes place. While ESO has already ruined quite a lot of established Elder Scrolls Lore (I know there are explanations for the changes, but I find them lacking, and the changes are crap), I am more curious about how things will work out in ESO. We know the period in which ESO takes place ends with the rise of Tiber Septim through the ranks of King Cuhlecain of Falkreath and his winning of the imperial title. Until then, it seems the "History" will be described as a period of many men claiming the title of emperor during the fighting, but none truly having the power of the throne.

As such, I was wondering how the Daggerfall Covenant and Ebonheart Pact will fall apart? After all, they don't exist during the period of Tiber Septim. Dunmer have returned to enslaving Argonains (a stupid change in ESO, really) and Skyrim is broken up by petty kings (evidenced by Cuhlecain). The Daggerfall Covenant is not a unite entity during his rise, either, given how long it takes to conquer Hammerfall, compared to High Rock.

So, what do y'all think is going to happen? Can any of it be explained with the good stuff from Kirkbride Apocrypha or any proper, non-ESO lore?

I'm surprised that it's really a question with either. The Ebonheart Pact is built on a foundation of toothpicks, and High Rock, Orsinium, and northern (at the very least) Hammerfell really, really enjoy their political bickering and their border conflicts.

Something, somewhere will break on the inside of both alliances, and they'll both explode into spectacular displays of internal conflict.

As soon as Molag Bal's plot is thwarted, the necessity for those alliances will vane, and the internal conflict will strengthen.

The Pact probably won't last long. The Dunmer want their slaves back, the Nords want to brawl with the Dunmer... I think the Pact will be gone in no time after the Daedric threat is dealt with.

The Covenant? Hm, I can see the Bretons and Redguards ganging up against the Orsimer again, just for the lolz and to bomb them back to "beast" status again.

After that, they will begin to fight over the Iliac Bay or something.

What is more interesting for me: what happens to the Dominion?

The PGE implies that the Dominion conquered by Tiber is a different Dominion then the one in ESO.

But the PGE is propaganda, and there is even an annotation by YR regarding the statement that the Dominion is a "recent" creation.

Afair YR doesn't seem to be fond of that.

YR wasn't fond about most of that paragraph; a stretch of five sentences included the annotation, "I don't know where to begin pointing out the lies." However, the founding date, at least according to UESP, was not part of his complaint (at the very least, they didn't underline it). YR's disgust centered on the PGE's explanation of why and how the Aldmeri Dominion was founded, not when.

Zenimax already confirmed--a while ago, actually--that this is not the same AD; they were forced to explain that when other people pointed out the PGE dates. It was about the same time as their "transcription error" statement, though, so it didn't get nearly as much attention. Personally, I don't like the fact that they brought out another Dominion when the founding date of the PGE's was not only well established, but not even contradicted by the one source you'd expect to contradict anything remotely like a mistake. But considering what other decisions they made for the sake of their faction design plan, the AD is the least of their problems--or at least it was until they decided to make its queen into an infant. (Is it possible to retcon something before it's even released? She was originally stated in the promotional material to be something like 150, and changed only when they released her--very lackluster--origin story.)

Fate of the AD after Molag Bal is gone? I imagine that the political infighting between Ayrenn and her brother (and everyone else that thinks that she's too young, too "pro-Man," and too corrupted by her journeys outside of Summerset) will tear the alliance apart.
