I can't get enough of this game. Story svcks, but I didn't even care. So excited to see what Bungie does with it.

So I asked a question in the other thread but it got lost in the maelstrom of posts on the first day. If anyone could answer it I'd appreciate it, as is am really interested in Destiny. I don't have any xbox friends, nobody to join in with online (xbox one). Is there any point in me getting this game? Or would not having anyone to play with basically detract too much from the experience?

Charge you $20 per new location added with a gun or 2 thrown in to sweeten the deal :tongue:

I've played the beta, it's an online only game and you cross paths with people playing whether you want to or not (certain mission types are triggered and will be solo play unless you have someone with you). It's more fun with friends and the game seems to be tailored to taking on missions in teams so take what you will from this.

I think I really svck at PVP. My pulse rifle does [censored], and my sniper is worthless. I get one shotted by fusion rifles and by shotguns (which is fair).

It isn't nearly as fun by yourself to be honest, but I still can't think of any better game on the Xbox One right now..

Well I got the expansions for like $15 each

But there will be new strikes and raids that are free

ha I was close...perhaps $20 was $5 too much for people to buy into a recycled area :tongue:

I will say that the mechanics were pretty solid and fun but the game itself is lacking in some areas.
