DESTRUCTION... Where did it go Crytek?

Apart from being left in the dust, what are Crytek doing and where did destruction go? Cryengine2 (Crysis 1) seemed to be ahead of this Cryengine3. A new engine should included more or better refined, not less. Am I missing something here, I mean I havn't been able to play multi yet because of the login issues. But i hear theres no walls blowing out or trees falling or anything.

Yeah, it's all static and some stuff it pre-broken for the consoles. Crytek haven't said anything about it in the patch though.

The small trees on the first level can be broken; they break exactly where you shoot them. Also some of them can break on Lighthouse (multiplayer). Only things missing are deformable barrels, dumpsters (and cars?). Just give Crytek more time, preferably a month after Dx11.

The big metal shipping containers can be deformed with explosives and the street lights in Semper Fi or Die can be run over
