Details on Skyrim!

Oh wow, this "no more agility to build up" makes me wonder if they're ditching attributes altogether. Anyone has any info on that? I wouldn't mind, really. Efficient attribute leveling was a bother anyways. Not to mention that chosing a perk, chosing attribute growth and whether to increase health, stamina or magicka could be deemed a bit overwhelming at each level up.

Thanks for all the info! I haven't been reading up on all the articles and such, so a fair bit of that was news to me! :) It was great to have it all in one place!

well they played a demo of it i was hoping theres some footage of it

Bethesda has only been making demos for journalists of OXM and Game Informer and the like. They're not in to producing a demo for their massive open ended RPGs, its hard to capture all the elements in such a confined space and time.

Hopefully we get a video walkthrough of whatever demo they show at E3.

Pretty lame that I can't hold my sword out and block just because I use magic at the same time. <_<

I know, I wouldnt normally think so. Its odd that they released a gameplay trailer with so little info out so far.

A 'Gameplay Trailer' is a trailer that shows actual gameplay as the focus

The focus of the trailer was to introduce the game. It just so happed that it was made up of actual gameplay moments rather than scripted scenes, different thing all together.

Now to the OP, great info here, I try and keep up with info on the game, but was a great idea to post it all here, I knew a few things but some of the things I had not come across are just making me want this game now. It almost sounds to good to be true at the moment.

I don't like the sound of that Magnetism at all. I hope it's an option.

Demo was played for them. Everything shown has been hands off thus far.

That's correct. There's no plans for a public demo for Skyrim.

Agreed, great compilation of info.

Hate accidently hitting your allies when there is a big fight? That's one thing it fixes.

Didn't know about some of this, thanks man, the one hit 'bleed-out' does rather intrigue me, and the ability to overhear rumors and conversation should add to the atmosphere in taverns.

Can this be locked? Its not a matter of perspective when I say this is OLD information that can be found in the links that are stickied. I think having to see this thread on top all the time is needless.

I didn't know about half this information until I read it here. I would prefer if this thread were stickied, actually. It's comprehensive and having it on the first page could prevent a lot of new threads being made.

Nice confirmations, thanks!

Wow, 120 unique dungeons, vs. 200+ similar dungeons. Way to go Bethesda!

100% Hand-crafted world
100% Unique Dungeons
100% Unique Buildings

I'll take this over better graphics any day.

That is as close as I can find to an image of a troll.

I agree though, there are two threads that come to mind when I see this one. Thanks for the info though.
