[RELz] Detecting Keypresses

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 11:09 am

One very useful tool in scripting is the ability to detect keypresses using FOSE's http://fose.silverlock.org/fose_command_doc.html#IsKeyPressed, and use them to bind hotkeys to scripted actions. I've written a tutorial on how to detect keypresses in this way, and how to bind them to different types of actions.

Thanks pkleiss, although to be fair I churn them out pretty slowly.

Actually, it was a http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1053954-looking-for-hotkey-tutorial/page__view__findpost__p__15291032 that you made back in November last year that made me think of making a tutorial for this, but it took this long for me to actually do it. The company that maintains my phone line has screwed something up, which left me without internet access at home for the past few days. It's amazing how much more work I can get done when my usual procrastination outlets are unavailable, haha.
