TRIBUNAL AND BLOODMOON REQUIREDFor centuries the enormous city of Omicron has lived in technological peace, bumbling through their problems and generally living happily. That is of course, until a plague hits the city and an enormous trans-dimensional gate opens up in the center, unleashing an army of malevolent bureaucratic robot demons on the world. Luckily for us, the Nerevarine is present for the destruction, and, with a magical spear, a determined expression, and an empty head, undertakes a journey to send the daedra back to hell and such.Deus Ex Machina is primarily a steampunk/technology mod. Most of the stuff in it is a mix of Sotha Sil and Dwemer styles. Features:-A epic main quest, complete with special boss battles (That come with unique music), and specialized scripted events, such as killer trains, explosions, a few enormous battles, and a lot of running away. -An entire new land to explore, about 2/3 or so the size of Solstheim, complete with new dungeons, 2-3 new towns, and an enormous steampunk city-An enormous clockwork, metal city, sprawling with NPCs and flavor. Trains move overhead, performers perform, muggers mug you, and the Day watch and the Night Watch shift places based on the time of day.-Ability to join the Technomancer's Union, and master the art of technomancy, or go against what you were told and become a necrotechnomancer, and take up the art of using dead people to power clocks-Ability to join the Crateheads, a local cult with reality warping agendas, often which make the player sick. And as you'll find out, make quite a few other people sick as well.-Over 20 sidequests, and 2 joinable factions, each with about 10 or so quests to them, making it over 40+ sidequests, in addition to the main quest.-The ability to become the ruler of a complete desolate Dwemer city, complete with a working elevator and railroad! -A new method of fast travel: Trains and subways! Both on Vvardenfell and on Omicron, with the Vvardenfell actually rideable and movable in real time. Complete with a whistle.-New armor, weaponry, clothing, and misc. items, some with specialized effects.-New scrolls -New ingredientsTo begin your machine-infested adventure, head to Dagon Fel, and look around for a breton wearing bonemold

Careful, parts of it are extremely difficult, a Level 20-30 character should be good for it though.

Consider this an insta-dl. Might the landscape conflict with anything? or is it in interiors?

Great work Trainwiz, congratulations on your release! :goodjob: I know you put a lot of work into this, especially with a main quest.

Anything adding lands to the north of Sheogorad will conflict.

Congratulations on the release.
I know you went through a lot of work and trouble to get this finished, and it's great to see a REL finally :)
I'm honored to have been able to contribute to this project, and look forward to playing through the quests.
Thanks!

Absolutely amazing. Just from the little I've seen the amount of detail and effort put into this at the very least makes it worth downloading. Then you toss in the quests... I laughed for a solid couple of minutes during the golem quest in the outer city.

Mkay: Here we go.

[insert positive review of the epic-largeness of everything]

Right, now:

Colours. Seriously is there some good reason why lots of the cell colours have to be so crazy!?

http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/1131/scronshot103.jpg

I guess its not a serious attack on the mod, and please dont take it that way, but crazy cell colouring makes people cringe. often, its the more normally coloured cells that have the most atmosphere

Im so disappointed you didnt bother colouring the last words differently.. ;)

Im not flaming. Im just expressing an opinion. If theres some good reason for crazy colouring, then please, enlighten me. 5 mins of random coc-ing around admitedly isnt guna involve me in any plot (for an excuse), so it would want to be awesome.

The appeal of hardcoe pink cells conflicts with my masculinity you see :hubbahubba:

And who made you the http://www.thereheis.com/nucleus3.22/media/gallery/20081229-happypolice.jpg Wollibeebee!? Lawl

Yes... this would be an acceptable excuse. Not sure how our Mad Lord would tie in with Cybertron Omicron

i did, i honestly dont think you should complain about the colours, he was aiming for those colours, and they can look great. unless Train wants to go over every single cell, change the ambience and sunlight, and re-release?

Well as you say it's just your opinion, personally I think the "crazy" colored fog makes it look different in a good way (based on screenshots, I have not downloaded the mod yet), so my opinion obviously differs from yours.
I'm sure a modder like you can load the esp in the cs and change the fog to suit your tastes in a matter of minutes, so it's not a big deal anyway, is it?

Thank you Trainwiz for the release, it looks very interesting. I'm especially interested in the subway. Also it looks like your mod provides very interesting locations for screenshoting, I'll make sure to take some pictures next time I play the game. Congratulations for the release!

Wow - Trainwiz - you did it - after how many years in production?

Did your final release depart much from the vision you had prior to the um... disastrous derailment you experienced earlier?

Final release actually didn't have that much different from the original project, except for some interiors

As for the FABULOUS COLORS, there are two reasons.

First off, Sheogorath. The Crateheads (That big color purple thing belongs to them) are a sect of Sheogorath's worshippers. Sort of. It's complicated, and doesn't make much sense, like many things related to those idiots.
How are they related to Omicron? Well, they're mostly based in Omicron, and Cratehall, their home, is actually a very advanced piece of technomancy.

Second off, the other fabulous colors are because that takes place in a part of the main quest called "The Rainbow Dimension"
If you play the mod, you'll find out why and who and what. Though you may regret it later.

Finally, if the mod conflicts with your "masculinity", might want to give this mod a miss, several of the bosses actively flirt with you, sort of like Crassius Curio.
Only it's alot more awkward because they're fifty foot tall giant robotic demon... things.

Derp!
Forgot a few files, mostly icons, so gonna release a patch.

Also working on a main quest walkthrough, no idea where to host that though.
