Oh I agree with that, the sound and visual animations are top notch for the DA summonings.

Well off to a good start regarding pve content in the game, cant wait for the adventure zone preview
One can only hope. I actually miss MMO content for massive groups. Seeing great big groups come together is, to me, more fun than tiny groups.
Q + 1-5 + R
QW2 mistake, the shortcut count, over simplified and gets boring really fast.
Rift mistake, after your first ten rifts you understand how boring it is actually. In Rift that is one of the main things, I do hope that in ESO it is just a "minigame" that happens rarely.
Everyone in the video was playing a caster, or it seemed like that at least. For this kind of presentation would have been nice to see some other "classes" as well.
Graphics are nice.
There was melee combat during the first part with the world boss, I think they were mostly aiming for showing off strategy and the Things you can do with groups other than dungeons and PVP. I dont feel a class show case to be necessary because there are so many combinations it would take way to long.
I am pretty sure the rift encounters are not identical to each others. and they will prolly have chance of escelation etc if failed to be closed.
Anyone dying to the rifts prolly feeds them making them stronger.
Sweetsies!
I really like how visceral and fast the combat feels. And 1st-person perspective is coming along nicely.
I would like to see three versions of DA's,
Small group version (1-6 players)
Large Version (10-15 players)
Raid scale version (30-40+ players)
Also, I do not want the same pattern over and over again -- mix it up and have random surprises at any given time and sometimes there is no surprise, just keep the player guessing.
Surprise = New type of boss, or different story arch, or enter the plane to do battle, etc One never knows how it will play out.
I didn't see any PvE in this game. Guys, WHERE IS THE PVE???
id love an escelation, where you are svcked inside the vortex and you find yourself with all the ecounter people in a dome like hall, where a big battle will ensue.
no resurrections
no mana regeneration (only mana potions work)
and then a fight to the death !
That could be fun. Can't talk too much about them but some more challenging DAs for super awesome skilled players would be great.
i dunno, i wonder if those 1001 thread makers who say the same found it ?
should we ask them ?
I hear what you mean, it also reminds me of the rifts in Rift... they do get boring after a while.
I hope these anchors aren't as abundant and have real consequences.
you can only say you r in beta, remove the comment pls.
i hope it only counts those actually trying to help. i would hate for these to scale from on lookers and people just running around like idiots.
Actually I hope this kind of stuff happens so often that people will be whining all over the forum that this game is to hard and you can't even get a break of 5 minutes.
It looks epic and I am hooked already
The video looks awesome to me can't wait to play !!
I feel like a junky.. searching for texts and videos, any way to get more info, every day to get my "TESO fix" lol.
Thanks for the link, it's settled down my cravings for today
It's a nice video, but I have a serious issue with the fast travel.
One of the main reason's that I quit RIFT, Warhammer and WOW, was because of being able to teleport to other players, to quests, and even inside dungeons instantly. You can sit there and tell me to ignore the feature, and go about my own business, but you all know that my group members would flip out because I'm running across the world to get somewhere, and I'm taking way too long.
My issue with it is that it makes no sense. Wayshrines I can handle. They would work similarly to the Elder Scrolls single player titles, and they cost money to use. They are magical devices out in the world, and that's a compromise that I can accept. However, allowing group members to teleport to each other instantly is a failure in a design choice in my personal opinion. What about all of the world designers that put in countless hours to craft the environment that you play in? You've decided to effectively cut the world, literally into such small pieces, that it will act more like a lobby game than an actual MMO when it comes to group play. How is that a good thing? People can't run to a wayshrine, then travel to their destination?
Was a compromise even discussed here? You have that super deep progression system, with all of these skill lines. You couldn't have added a mages guild spell that teleports players to your position? For example, the warlock spell in WOW? Wouldn't that make significantly more sense than instantly teleporting to a player? Everyone would have access to the skill based on it being part of the mages guild skill line. So pretty much, all end game players would have it to use. It simply makes sense. It's adding something to your game, that fits the feel of the world. And at the same time, not adding some artificial system to your game.
I'm tired of people being so incredibly lazy that they can't take a minute or two to travel from somewhere. What I'm even more tired of, is developers who cater to the laziness of their players in a way that makes ZERO sense. I feel like this trend is going to revert our online games back into games like Counterstrike. Where we all sit in a lobby until we find a group, which instantly loads us into a dungeon. Isn't that where we are going?
You put people like me at a great disadvantage socially in a group environment. I refuse to use such a lazy system, and it may end up being a large reason as to why I quit, yet again, another game with such potential.
Zenimax, you are going too far.
same here. the best part about the video is my wife had no interest in this game until she watched this video. now she is thinking of jumping ship from wow and joining me in ESO and thats just awesome imo
