Notice how he's got space for 200 different stacked/unstacked items in total and he's lvl 38.
Guess the 466% increase bag space ratio, when compared to WoW, isn't so far fetched after all ;)

Thank you for posting this. I am a dedicated crafter and was starting to get worried that there was not going to be enough inventory space to collect crafting mats. I am not a doomsayer and have always waited until I play a game before passing judgement. Even so, the topics about bag and bank space had me on edge.

Please note that the character is a dev character and he is certainly cheated to demonstrate the video.

Right... Because to show parts of their game they are going to show it in away thats won't actually happen in game... Seems legit... :bonk:

It simply means they can have character with more invenotry space, but did they allow player to have that much space? nothing has said about the inventory space at all. The character could have cheated his inventory space so he could holds more item for dev characters for TESTING purpose.

Remember, the main focus of the video after all, is the CRAFTING, not inventory space at all.

No, they wouldn't show the number unless it was real. He could have cheesed it to get gold to buy the slots, but the number of slots we can be sure its accurate.

Not at all, developer character can have stats in the illogical range, that doesn't mean player character can replicate it via legit gameplay. This is a TESTING character.

Damn, another video to tease me.... I like the way they have set up the crafting in ESO and now... just one more thing to cause me to want to play. :D

Great video, one more piece, or Shard, if you will, of information to help me plan on how I am going to evolve in game. Looking forward to learning more.

I'll tell ya right now no developer is going to put up a video that is not what it will be like in the game because the fallout would be herendous.

I really am looking forward to crafting. It has always been a major interest of mine in TES games, and this system looks real interesting. I want to eventually have one high level crafter of each profession.

Right now, I'm trying to figure out how many professions can fit onto one character, which will have enough skill points to level alongside my fighting skills. Maybe just create 3 low/mid level characters with 2 professions each, and have my 1-2 main characters search for all the materials and bank them? I'm really looking forward to this game!

You are being ridiculous. Official videos from any company worth their salt will only show actual in game footage that players can achieve. This is why crafting videos and other gameplay announcements have been slow in coming, because they don't show you until it is locked in and final. The crafting system particularly went through different iterations.

You fearmongering and overall ridiculous comments are unwarranted.

Thet are showing the crafting system, not the inventory space at all. Not to mention Bethesda have shown video of in game footage that differs from the end product before,

i collected ONE stack or iron ore and the count was over 100,

so we clearly know from beta that ONE SLOT in your bank can have more then 100-200 or more materials in one slot. and the bank has 110 slots, inventory 100. (capped, as far as i know)

so stop that already, you r just making yourself look silly.

we are talking about inventory slot, not stack limit. Get a clue? Notice the dev character have 200 SLOT invenotry space? people are basing on this video to say the dev have increased the max number of inventory SLOT.

Keep in mind, weekend betas max level is 17 -- in the video that char is level 38 So, May be how fast one can buy bank space is somewhat based where you are at in the world and what level one is on.

If you only played during a Weekend test i very much doubt you were maxed out. The upgrades after the first few start to cost upwards of 3000-5000 gold so not likely one would have enough if they only got to lvl 10-15.

and what in the video was impossible with 50+50 slots then ?

200 stacks of every material in blacksmithing ? that takes like 10 slots or something ?

so what exactly was the need to say the devs cheated ? or you just trolling here ?

We get +50 slots per zone more slots ? news to you ?

The vendor you buy your bags from, is marked in the map with a bag vendor icon, higher quality bags can be bought in the next zone same as you can buy higher quality weapons and armor.

This is news to someone ?

I know there is a river of tears thread about it in the forums, so now we know why the crafter character was not level 9 with 50 bag slots. It was lvl 30+ with 3 zones worth of upgrades in inventory slots.
